The Old Spaghetti Factory reviews
16 My wife and I came here while we were visiting Oregon for some business. I have to say we were both very disappointed with the restaurants menu. I mean there's like one page and literally was the food was not very good. The staff were friendly the interior of the building is nice with a little train car in there. But honestly I wish we had just gone to another restaurant their menu did not have very many choices whatsoever I thought I could get chicken parmesan or veal parmesan and it's do you want that kind of food go somewhere else.
Cheers,
James.
The employees entrance must be the bar, because they kept opening the door and employees coming in that way, with freezing temps outside, dinner was unbearable in the lounge.
Server was scarce even with an empty restaurant, and the complimentary ice cream was frozen rock hard (they must have kept it next to the employees entrance).
Employees bantering back and forth in front of the customers, seemed unprofessional.
Service is starting to fall off for sure
Ordered through doordash although the food is good the portions are half of what you get in restaurant. I don't mind paying the higher price for good food but when they shorten the amount that's just wrong.
Ordered Chicken Parmigiano and food was pretty sub par. Service was also very slow. Men's restroom smelled worse than many gas station ones I have been in. Not a pleasant experience unfortunately.
Prices are just wait too high.we came sat down and the menu prices caused us to get up & leave
Waitress was nice, but forgot a lot of our things and it was not very busy. We sat at the bar becuase we were just hungry. Food is ok.
Food was delicious they where understaffed. So the waitress and manager waited on us. I have to say the manager took better care of us. Our food was delicious our drinks Italian Soda's not so much but the manager replaced them and they where great about it.since under staffed it took long too get our meals.
No variety on the menu. Was dissatisfied with the Lasagne very expensive for American Italian.
Will not return.
I had a great time there. The food was delicious and the service was amazing. Beautiful setting. Thank you.
I would give zero stars if i could! Let me wait 30 min in togo spot then when they did finally bring my dood out (after i called and said i had been waiting 30 mins whats the fickin deal and get hung up on) but the guy throws my order in my window and walks off! A $70 meal thrown in my window
Nowhere near what it used to be.
It was hardly edible, and the host was snippy.
We're done with this resto.
Prices have gotten so expensive. For a plate of spaghetti look to spend Close to $20. In fact each meal is expensive. Our family dines out a lot but we decided we can do spaghetti at home from now on for those prices. Saddly, that was our last time going there. Also, the place was practically empty. Only 2 other tables in use but we saw about 15 employees walking around looking for something to do. I get that covid has changed things and now inflation but management has too many people working. Now I see why it was so expensive. The sad thing is no one was assigned to us. My wife had to ask one of the many people walking by who are server is? The employee had no idea but took our order and ended up serving us. She was sweet but it was not a well managed restaurant. Good bye OSF.
Really great food and portions. Elli, our server was really good with her service and recommendations. We had our kids with us and kept that in mind making sure they had food before the main dish arrived. Thank YOU from Texas
I have been really disappointed the last 2 times I've went to this Hillsboro location. This last time on nov. 7th was no exception. The waiter was immature in his comments and replies, he admitted he knew nothing about wine at all and had to go find a manager to help us. No one seemed to care over there, the manager was kicking around napkins on the ground and instead of picking them up she went and yelled at another young person to go picked it up instead. No one seemed to care about professionalism and no structure or leadership was apparent. The food was way under the old spaghetti factors normal quality and was quite disgusting. We all made a commitment at my table that the portion size was extremely smaller than usual as well. Maybe I'm spoiled from the downtown location, its night and day in every aspect, I love downtown location and would rate it way way better than hillsboro location. I won't be going back to that location, just to disappointing to many times.
The food here never disappoints. The restaurant is always very clean. The people are very friendly.
