Usually a wonderful experience but this last one was odd. Documents are filled out online in advance but information is clearly not shared with physician. We got there early but were seen ~20 minutes late. Others arrived late to their appointment but were seen first. Our visit finished after 5pm and staff were gone, lights were off, etc. We hope it was simply a bad visit and not the norm.

Now I'm going to edit my review every week, because of your response below.when I had a test done at the Oregon clinic pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine west, I was treated horrible by a man hating nurse rude right from the start. I was yelled and cursed at and after two hrs of wasted time I have to retake test.this is discrimination!

I was given lots of explanations of the events that would take place in the 2 hour test; explained all the tests one at a time and what was necessary in order to get good results and when and why the nurse would come in and actually conduct the last actual bike riding test.

Because of the time and explanations, I feel I was able to really "push through" in order to get good readings for review.

If you like paying for nothing, this place is for you. They took my money for a test and I can't get anyone to give me the results. $400 for nothing, which they also lied about and said my out of pocket would be about $100.

Dr. Hataya Kristy Poonyagariyagorn is outstanding. I've seen many pulmonary doctors over the years and Dr. Poonya is absolutely top shelf. I can't address all the physicians in the practice but neither I nor anyone else in my family will see anyone except Dr. Poonya.

Ever since Dr. Lin came onboard with the clinic, I feel I am receiving the best pulmonary care possible. RNs Sharon and Teri are the best! I have been early for my appointments many times and have been taken into patient care room very quickly. In short, im still alive because of their care! Many thanks.

I wish they had more information posted and they are very friendly just in a hurry no time to spend with patients. I would have everything you need for the appointment they are not getting some info for some reason. I think they are also taking on to many patients. I will say again they were nice.

They told me check in 10: 15.
With appointment at 10: 30.
Now they are saying appointment is at 11am
Lies! Not happy with wait time

In all honesty I am struggling with the star ratings because when it comes to finally getting the appointment and seeing the doctor (Joshua Ramseyer) I gave him more than 5, "10 stars if I could" I never had more tentative and caring doctor in all my life like he was with me. However when it comes to getting the appointment (2 month after the initial call) and dealing with the scheduler I gave minus 7 stars again if I could.so 3 stars are a degraded 10 stars for the doctor because of the staff.

Hour late to see me and no apology from anyone in the office or any sort of explanation on why the very long delay.

Long time on hold and then the scheduler was not friendly or helpful, not the same as it used to be.

Seriously folks, learn how to manage a schedule! I was a patient two years ago, and when my condition came back I was referred back to them by the Emergency Room. Well first of all ER folllow ups should always be done within a week of the ER visit. Nope, they couldn't get me in for six weeks. Not even after my doctor called on my behalf would they budge. Then they called and rescheduled my appointment three times. I have to arrange transportation so this was a pain. Then i finally got in and the doctor ordered a bunch of testing, and wanted to see me in two weeks. I scheduled the appointment in the office and then of course they called yesterday and changed the time from the afternoon to the morning. Fine. Then they call today and ask about the tests and to confirm my appointment however they had rescheduled the appointment again to another day but neglected to tell me. Then on top of that they have to cancel that one also because they overbooked the doctor! I finally just said have the doctor call me when he gets my results I don't need to wait four years to get my test results and he can tell me what treatment will be over the phone. This office either needs a new office manager, or schedulers with brains. I asked them why when you scheduled the appointment two weeks ago, you did not make sure he could actually see me? No answer other that oh uh well sorry.

A physician is ONLY as good as his/her staff. If you can not even get pass the rude and impolite and down right incompetent clinic operator, then you can not get your medical care done or can ya? Or, the "scheduling people" who love to play phone-tag for show-n-tell taking week to even setup a darn simple appointment. So, EVENTUALLY making it to the MD, will not matter after the headache of setting up an appointment now will it? How likely is it that you would want to go back to a doctor whose staff is incompetent and treats you like a number? Even though the MD is brilliant herself. Not a dime worth. Stay away from this clinic. If you have a referal to a pulmonologist, simply glance over the local DEX phone directory, and you would see that there are dozens of other Pulmonary MDs practicing, who would love to get your business and treat you with respect and dignity. IT IS A BUSINESS folks, for them, and it ought to be for YOU as well. Start demanding good service, after all medical costs are highest ever, and you are paying for their shoddy service and bad attitude. CHOICE is yours. Customer service has significantly gone down hill in this great country, you can make a difference.

I just went onto the website to reach the clinic and read the horrible and rude comments. We have been patients of Dr. Shipley for a few years. We met him in the ICU at St. Vincent's. Previously a patient of Dr. Flick also. I do agree with some concerns of the front office staff but our experience with Dr. Shipley is that you couldn't be in better hands. Please give this clinic another chance. David & Colleen Conceicao

This association is awful. Extremely unintelligent office staff, extremely hard to reach or disinterested medical staff, and all most their job is finding numbers on screens.
