The Original Pancake House reviews
15This has got to be one of the best places to eat pancakes in Salem hands down, the portions were good and the pancakes were delicious. Our family enjoyed it and the fresh squeezed orange juice was superb, definitely recommend this place for breakfast or brunch.
It's so expensive, $3.40 for a pespi and $7.95 for strawberries! Next time, I'll pass.
A place with a good variety of options and flavors. The service is good and the waiting time is not long. Pancakes must try everyone. My favorites: 49rs
Old time favorite! Mushroom omlete, 49ers pancakes, apple pancake. There is something for everyone and it is ALL delicious
Wonderful waitress who helped me with their menu. Great breakfast food. My eggs were prepared just the way I requested - whites fully cooked, runny yolks. I'm not sure why, but most restaurants seem to find that to be an impossible task. I'll definitely return.
Ha! Never been to one. It reminds me of a fancier diner. I guess they make most of their own things there, who knew! I'll add it to my list of good breakfasts.
Awesome! The service, the food with fresh berries, the super clean and inviting atmosphere will keep us coming back forever.
Have dined out around the world (am 85) THE FOOD & SERVICE EXCEEDED ALL OTHER RESTERAUNTS! THANK YOU
O P H!
Wow. $29.99 plus our 4.00 tip (not waiters fault) I had two eggs and hash brown my wife had one egg & hash browns, toast, 1 ice tea & 1 coffee. Great service-good coffee but fried potato cubes are NOT hash browns just not well prepared/fully cooked through. Last time for Pancake House.
We had the best waitress ever today. She was very personable and shared a lot of info about sight seeing ideas and dinner restaurants to try in town. The breakfast was excellent too. Recommend both the pancakes (obviously) and the eggs Benedict. Imagine everything on the menu is just as good, those two, we can recommend per experience. Loved the bacon too. Four thick and excellent slices came with my pancake order.
YOU are the epitome of what excellent food & service means. & the HOSTESS 07/07 was beyond FABULOUS. Help me walk my 85 yr old G-ma all the way to my car. THANK YOU, KIND HOSTESS.
The Original Pancake House is the place my dad and I have breakfast at whenever we see each other! The Dutch Baby is our go-to. And their coffee is so good.
Great service! Had breakfast, cooked perfectly. Had a big Ole plate of biscuits and gravy all homemade, definitely not out of a can.
Way over priced. Paid 18$ for a small chicken fried steak and 2 eggs. Comes with 3 buttermilk pancakes.well they are dollar sized so small. Doesn’t come with hash browns like every other breakfast place. Got a side of strawberries charged me 7.50! They were sour. Never again
We had a great breakfast! My friend and I had their strawberry crepes and their Georgia pecan pancakes, and they were absolutely delicious! Shaun was our waiter and he was very friendly and courteous. He made sure that we had all that we needed. All of the food is good and fresh. So, go and enjoy because eating at The Original Pancake House is a real treat!
