The Rawlin at Riverbend Memory Care reviews
7The Rawlin was my choice for my Mother five years ago. I rated it a 4 because it would be impossible to rate a 5, I believe due to the nature of the business. Is additional staffing needed, sure. Are more volunteers and support positions needed, sure. I feel for the most part the workers are amazing, hard working and caring. I believe and I feel their compassion and I can’t imagine not holding their efforts in high accord.
Despite the negative reviews I actually love working there. I’ve worked at 3 other facilities and been a caregiver for 8 years, I can say this is the best one I’ve worked at. Our ED is very kind and respectful, I love my co workers. There are things I would change but I do feel like our management does take the steps to change them even if they can’t right away and if it’s something they can’t change Carly always explains to us why at the meetings, other EDs just will avoid the topic. It’s a great place to work and I would also like to mention we have great activities directors and assistant activity directors. I’ve been in this field for a long time (for my age) so I feel my opinion is definitely one you can rely on!
The Rawlin is the most amazing place I've ever worked as a care partner. Our management staff is so involved and not just for overhead, but day to day down to the last tiny detail of need for a resident. The kitchen staff does an amazing job with cooking up not only delicious meals but balanced for dietary needs. The activities are always the highlight of the day for our residents.
Love working here, the staff is amazing and the residents are even better:)
I have attended many events at The Rawlin and am always impressed by how clean and fresh the building is. It is an inviting space where the residents seem happy and comfortable. The staff sound cheerful and take time to engage with the residents. I would highly recommend it to anyone who needs a safe home for a loved one.
I have been nothing but impressed with the care, support and services they provide. The staff is compassionate, knowledgeable, and truly dedicated to the well-being of their residents. The facility is also clean, well-maintained, and provides a comfortable and stimulating environment for residents with memory care needs. I would highly recommend The Rawlin to anyone looking for a safe and loving home for their loved one.
I worked here for 2 years. If you’re thinking about working here, don’t. Management does not care about you, they will talk badly about you, they do not care about seniority and will prioritize new workers over the people who have been here the longest. They will force you to work with 18 residents at a time by yourself. I have worked a triple shift, doubles back to back, had seizures from pure exhaustion, serious back injuries from this place. They will work you to the bone. The residents are amazing and so sweet but I can tell you right now they are neglected from the facility being understaffed. Management would rather have you work by yourself than spend the money to have express come in and help. They arnt getting the care they need or deserve. If you love your family member, don’t send them here.
