If I can give this place 10 stars I would! I have been a client here for over a year and each student I worked with has done an excellent job. I have done color corrections, a variety of hair cuts, eyebrows and more. The school is also accesible and has provided amazing service for my girlfriend. She uses a manual wheelchair and has not had her hair colored by a professional since her accident. The Salon Academy found a way to make this happen and was able to give her the hair color she has been wanting for years. She has had a variety of hair cuts, eyebrows and facials done all without having to transfer. I cannot express enough how amazing Salon Academy is, you just have to go and try it for yourself!
* Helpful tip, this is a school, they are students learning so don't expect them to be at the same level and speed as your previous specialist they will take the time to to do it right. Be kind.
I attended this school in 2020 and all I can say is do not go here! Save your money and go somewhere else. They are incredibly unprofessional and have horrible education. If you want to teach yourself then by all means attend this school. They want you to stay longer so you can pay them more. When I tell you every person I met that attended this school has said this school is an absolute joke is astounding. They lost many of my exams and tried to make me retake them but I denied because it was not my fault they didn’t keep track of their records. I dated and took pictures of each of my exams and the scores that I got because someone said they lose things often. I was also never taught about Oregon law and how to properly succeed in the esthetics industry. If you want amazing education I recommend Spectrum advanced aesthetics institute for the esthetics program.
