My husband and I got married here April 2023. What a beautiful venue! We loved how every detail of this place is made to accommodate a lovely wedding/event. We were happy with our conversations with the owner and the wedding coordinator, and everything was set up exactly as outlined by our contract. A really great deal considering is was one of the only budget-friendly options we found in our venue search!
The wedding was a special event for my friends but the trains and conductors loud clacking and steel wheels on tracks during the ceremony wasn't the best atmosphere for sure. Id suggest that if you book a venue here check this situation out first because it really overshadowed the vows trying to be said n heard by my friends during their ceremony. I was sad about this for them. The place it's was beautiful.
So excited to book this venue for my wedding!
The family is so incredibly sweet and I know this is going to make for a magical wedding day. I can't wait to lock my venue on Monday. Absolutely gorgeous and everything we were looking for
Such a lovely place for a small to medium size wedding, retirement party, etc! Intimate, welcoming and flexible.
Even though the basement ceiling is low, it is a lovely setting for about 100 people to witness a wedding. The basement is ADA accessible. The size almost assures that you have the facility all to yourself.
Upstairs the largest room can be set for about 25 round tables, a place to dance, a bar and a side room for food service. There is an upstairs area for changing and dramatic descent to the awaiting party guests.
They have a varied menu. This wedding had the taco bar. I found the tortillas a little dry and stuck together, but overall the food was very tasty, plentiful and warm.
There's a nice sparkly disco ball at this wedding, but there are restrictions against attaching objects to the walls and ceilings. The PA system is sufficient for talking above the din. There is also an outside area which is often used for a photo booth or portraits.
Directions to get there are easy to follow, heading east it is on the left just before the old train station. Parking is sufficient but not abundant and too dimly lit. The traffic on the street is minimal in the evenings, making parking safe.
