The Urban Cork reviews
4My family and I have visited Urban Cork a handful of times over the last few years and have always had a lovely experience. They have a wonderful selection of wine, very kind staff, and have always been family friendly considering we often have had our 4 yr old daughter in tow. If you are looking for a chill place to gather with friends over a glass of wine this is a must try. Also nice that they have lots of indoor seating - so when the weather is crummy you dont have to be out in the cold!
Excellent service, a beautiful tasting room, and a delicious sampling on the flight we tried. I'm not normally one for wine, but this place changed my mind. They were great at explaining the origins of the wines and what the different grapes do to make the different flavors. Overall it was a fun experience with friends and I would definitely go back!
I love exploring new wines with their wine club. I’ve tried other popular wine clubs and I like supporting a smaller business! Oregon is such an interesting and upcoming region for wine. I always get personal attention from staff when I order and they have helped me find some great wines for even better prices. If you’re interested in checking out Oregon wine, especially if you’re not from Oregon and want to expand your variety, this is a great wine club to join
The wine is fine: all made by the same winemaker under different labels. Not exactly a variety of flavors in my opinion, and very "safe" wines (but some people love that!). The tasting room is pretty and the folks working behind the counter were nice, but the few times I was in there there was an unhappy dog barking nonstop that no one would do anything about, I overheard a manager (owner?) yelling at an employee, and I stopped going.just not a positive vibe.
