The Villas At Amberglen West, Hillsboro OR

Elizabeth & Haleigh and team have been awesome to work with during the tour, application, and apartment rental process for Villas at Amberglen West! They have made the whole process smooth and easy. So friendly, knowledgeable, and quick to respond. The only down side is the parking, as it's very limited and there's a long waitlist for designated spots. Other than that, highly recommend this team and community!

I stayed here from 2022-2023. This place is chill and nice. I lost my key when I snowboarded in the mountain. I sent an order to the office and got my spare key immediately. Thanks for Sergio’s quick help!

We stayed here for over a year and really liked the place. The move in and move out process had been really easy and smooth with the office staff being very helpful. Any maintenance related issues were resolved fairly quickly mostly by Sercio and Ulices. The apartments and common areas were well maintained. Having an elevator really helped. It had been a very pet friendly place with Amberglen park being very close by.

We are starting our 5th year in this apartment, our home, and I have not enough words to describe about our Maintenance Team. Ulices Ramos-Lopez and Sergio Maldonado-Caballero, are doing always an extraordinary job in my home. Every time we need something to be fixed, they're coming and fixed it. Is really our placer to work with them. Thank you so much guys,

The apartments are quiet and people are pretty friendly for the most part. Haven't really had any complaints about the staff or the tenants. The maintenance staff is very friendly and they lookout for the tenants:
Claudia, Sergio, Ulices, and Roberto are a big part of keeping Amberglen West a great place to live. They make sure that when a job needs to be done, it's completed quickly, discreetly, and correctly. Overall, I recommend Amberglen West as a great place to live due to them and the rest of the staff here.)

I have been living here for more than a year. Parking is a real thing. You can not find parking for yourself most of the time and can not have guests over since they can’t park anywhere.
Rent is high. Last but not least, I have been experiencing extremely loud noise from upstairs (kid running nonstop), but management won’t help with noise concerns.

I lived in two units at Amberglen and both locations were awesome & units were well taken care of. If you're looking to be in the center of Tanasbourne but with more privacy, Amberglen is the place to be! Onsite staff is super nice and helpful - Ramonia is the best. Receiving Amazon packages was a little tricky for me so I would always place for pick up at Whole Foods which is down the street. Parking is a little tight with there being new buildings around Amberglen - so I do suggest leasing a parking spot as well. Doggies left and right, very dog friendly community.

Do not move here. There are Daytona like vehicles up and down Wilkins and 206th, all day long, all night long. If you are looking for a comfortable peace, this place is not it. Already, looking for somewhere else to live. You will pay however much a month to stay awake at night, before a long day at work, for many nights to come. The street noise is ridiculous and the police unwilling to get involved, even after 10pm, to 7am, the revving cannot be stopped. And not just lightly, I mean, pedal to the floor a few times, and then zoom down the road for you to hear all. I don’t even live street side. Apt description says, this community is the epitome of thoughtfulness, and the results are back…. Thoughtlessness. They meant thoughtlessness

We've lived here for over four years, which says we really like it!
The location is fine - close to shopping, clinics, etc.and the really wonderful Amberglen Park.
The office staff is great, especially Ramonia. She's friendly, professional, and has been here longer than we have. She knows the answers to all the questions you might have about this place and the local area.
The maintenance staff is really great, too. They respond to and fix things in a very professional and friendly manor.

The staff here are fantastic! I have talked with Mona a few times and she has always been friendly and very helpful.
The few times that I have needed maintenance they have responded quickly and professionally.

Ramona is very helpful, always kind and pleasant. When there is a maintenance need, issue is fixed the day of request.

Great place to live if you enjoy having nowhere to park, smelling pet urine in the halls on your way into your home, and receiving the all-hours wake up calls by some Vin Diesel wannabes who treat the neighborhood street like their own personal drag strip. The staff is very friendly, but ultimately don’t have any sway when it comes to fixing the glaring issues. Luxury prices but certainly not reality.

The apartment was amazing. Great location. Walking distance to a couple close parks. Train station was close. Close to malls, shops, restaurants, etc. We were on the 2nd floor and could not hear any of our neighbors. Having elevators was very nice. Everything in the apartment was new and in good repair. If something ever needed attention then Amberglen addressed it quickly. Office people were really kind. Free hot chocolate. Workout room was great. Pool was great - it is heated and still open in the wintertime so I would swim laps after working out. The landscaping was great and maintained well. All the small grassy areas are dowsed in dog pee (in case you want to play on there with your kids, or lounge in the grass and read a book). No A/C so the apartments get toasty in the summer.

One thing that annoyed me is that many rules here are more like guidelines. For example, they don't allow large/aggressive type dog breeds, but a lot of people still have them. Or blown up floating devices aren't allowed in the pool, but all the kids still use them. This is only 2 examples of many. By the way - I'm ok with large dog breeds and floating devices in the pool, but why have rules if you don't know which ones are applicable.

Just moved to the area. Madison was a great help in finding us a spot and answering any questions we have had throughout the process. It’s made moving a lot less stressful than we anticipated. Thank you Madison!

We moved in like a month ago. The apartment itself is pretty big and light, I like that. But there is no AC and it’s just a big big -! But there is AC in the hall! This is just ridiculous! We are having heard times surfing through the heat with dogs in the 3 top floor.
The manager showed us apartment totally different from what we were going to rent coz it was available and we needed it ASAP. She didn’t mentioned that it a looooong way from the elevator on the 3d floor to the place. It was a nightmare with moving in and now with lifting big bags or camping gear.
Another important thing that at Villas of Amberglen they’ll charge you 50$ fee for pup g your rent online! That’s crazy! Again nobody would tell you about it. And if you are late with payment the fee will be another 150$! No parking spots, you have to struggle to get one in the evening! Or you pay! You need a little bitty storage - you pay! It’s not a nice place like we were hoping. And the stuff isn’t very helpful and not gonna give you all these info. And another crazy thing it is 12 months +1 of rent contract! So we trapped here.
Better think very very good before pick this place. Wish I was smarter before.

Madison was very kind, she is clearly great at her job. However, applied for an apartment. Showed up to tour, spent roughly 15-20 minutes trying to park. Due to parking we decided the apartment was not for us. They offered a refund on our application fee, great! Called two days later to be told that the manager said they would not issue the refund. Understandable, just irritating because they offered it.
