Theresa's Market, Cannon Beach OR

I made a quick market trip not expecting it to leave any impression. This just felt good, I mention it at dinner and someone says "me too! ". They were friendly and made everyone feel welcome. Hard to nail down the exact reason. Regardless when I'm at the beach and need snacks or ice, I know where I'm going.

I can't say this enough I never have been to such a happy place before.the customer service was a great experience the lady that works there made my vacation awesome I was so down she made me feel so good she was amazing thank you Chelsea

We made a pit stop here during our visit to cannon beach in Oregon. It’s a typical convenient store with essential items. They have various beverages and water, ice cream, and different snack items. We thought we would pick something to eat as quick dinner, however, they don’t have anything like that. But that’s not their purpose I guess. There are plenty of dinner options around. We ended up buying multiple drinks and snacks like chips and, etc.

I went into this place wanting to buy Zig Zag rolling papers. The rolling papers they had did not contain tobacco, & the people at the counter even told me that. The Oregon 2017 laws said that you have to be 21 to buy tobacco products. But you only have to be 18 to buy rolling papers, hemp wraps, bongs, etc.they asked for my ID, & I showed them asking if you only have to be 18 because I’m 20.he said you have to be 21 to buy tobacco products, after he told me it’s not a tobacco product. I tried to explain & show them the Oregon state laws that I found online, but he refused to even read it. The long haired man & the lady with the missing tooth continued to speak rudely to me & deny me service. I understand stores can deny you service, but I just think it’s funny that this store had people working that don’t know what they’re talking about. When I showed the guy my ID, he tried to do the math in his head looking at my birthday, he didn’t even know when you’re 21 your ID is horizontal & not vertical (biggest indicator distinguishing minors from everyone else) which would, anywhere else you have to be 21, get you denied service immediately if your id is not horizontal. Just shows this place hires people who don’t know what they’re talking about considering he called the rolling papers hemp wraps & went back & forth saying they were tobacco products & they weren’t tobacco products. That’s ok though, I got better service at another place. I was just blown away by how rude the workers were to me at Theresa’s market.

I don't know where to start so I'll start with the gratitude I have for the employees of this place, every single time I come to cannon Beach no matter who is working they are always super nice and it really brightens up my days no matter how tired I am from driving here. Sometimes it's busy sometimes it's not but either way the person behind the cash register handles everyone with the same professionalism even if those people are being super rude. I love that and of course the cheap yerba mates. This place and castaways are my go to places in cannon beach

The younger man with the beard didn't have his mask on when I went in, then proceeded to be extremely unprofessional and rude. Needs some training in how to talk to customers. Also straight up lied to me. I guess in a small town you have to work with what you got.

What a great little store. Had everything I needed plus one of the best beer sections I have seen in a long time! Staff is always friendly and happy to help me find the next best Ipa.
