Thoughtcrime Tattoo, Portland OR

I would highly recommend Thoughtcrime for anyone visiting or residing in the Portland Metro area. The whole staff is very friendly and accommodating and the studio is very clean and well-maintained. For my first tattoo with him Jasper fit me in on a whim and was patient while I decided on a font and size.

I booked a second tattoo with him and am very pleased with how it turned out. He helped me figure out a specific design that incorporated my vision for the tattoo but also covered a couple scars on my shin. Photos attached. A big thanks to Jasper and everyone at Thoughtcrime tattoo!

Went with my girlfriend and got a small piece on my right hand from artist Zack Castle, he was wonderfully sweet and the art he had displayed for other pieces was also incredibly impressive.everyone there was very kind and Zack worked very diligently, his line work was amazing, and the price was absolutely right.definitely recommend this shop to anyone, including first timers.the shop is also lgbtq friendly which I'm coming to understand is pretty common in Portland but is a little rare where I'm from, so I thought I'd include that in the review as well for any out of towners.great experience overall.thanks so much Zack!

I have never felt more comfortable getting a tattoo. Bryan Black is incredible. He is so incredibly talented and amazing. His work is always 100% and he always makes me feel welcome and comfortable. From the moment you walk in, Colin makes you feel at home. I absolutely love coming here. I couldn't recommend them more.

Great to walk into a shop and find almost everyone going to the same concert as me later that night. Weird fun coincidence.

Great tattoo work too. Fast and clean.

Took me in as a last minute walk-in. Talked to about 4 people while I was there and they were all really cool. The artist did a good job and didn't mind my dumb jokes. Then me, him, and another artist spent the whole time making fun of the 4 hour quote that I was given by a different shop right before coming here.

Zack (I think was his name) was putting in the final touches after about 45 minutes and said "don't worry, only 3 hours left! " It was a fun experience and I'll definitely be back.

P. S. My partner also showed up towards the end of the tattoo. They let him sit in and even he loved the vibe there and wants to get his next tattoo with them.

Robert is the BEST 10/10. Always SO kind and accommodating whenever I want to get something and extremely tatted! I have many by him and I Cannot recommend him highly enough! Seriously, go to him!
