Tides Inn Bar & Grill reviews
13Great burgers hands down! I wandered in there, I was in a town I never been to or knew anything about anything to do or eat plus it was getting dark and rainy and I still had a two hour drive to make it home. I randomly picked this place because it was near where I initially parked. Immediately as I walked in it felt like a locals hangout bar, lots of socializing and easy to tell who was visiting and who lived in town. The bartender lady was super nice and the burger was ready very quickly and was massive, I can't believe I ate the whole thing, but I finished my plate, casually finished my drink as I played some slots. I actually won enough money to pay for my meal too and leave a good tip ta boot. I'd definitely go back and get some dinner if I find myself passing through there again. The local folks pretty much left me alone so it was a peaceful time where nobody asked me about who I was, where I'm from, where am I going, etc. Sometimes I don't like that small talk banter and this was the perfect place for me to relax and eat because I had just driven an ungodly amount of miles from California and was happy to find an open restaurant, the food was hella good and I'd surely stop there again the rare time i find myself passing through again.
Needed a quick lunch, great hamburger, bar maid was the best, got me back on the road fast, Thanks!
Food is simple, but the burger is one of the best in the area. Typical bar atmosphere with video lottery and pool tables.
Cozy little bar in Reedsport, Oregon with unexpectedly good food. I was looking for a place to eat, late, and everywhere else was closed. The bacon cheeseburger with tots and a side order of jalapeno poppers was not merely satisfying, after a long day of not eating much, but really a cut above I expected. And the prices were good too. There were a couple of pool tables and this bar and restaurant appeared to be pretty popular with the locals. I will be coming back here to eat during my stay!
Sweet little dive par. Don't expect a great beer or liquor selection. The place really does a great job of giving you the ability to experience the Reedsport locals. Walk in with a smile and leave feeling much better about yourself. Appreciate what you've got in life. Or, visit places like this so you can have it thrown in your face. Kudos.
Best burgers in the area! Good drinks and video poker and slots, jukebox, and pool tables. Friendly atmosphere.
Thanks for the great time!
We had beers and whiskey and crispy chicken salads.
We met lots of locals and felt right at home!
Prices are very reasonable and the service was awesome!
Thank you for a great experience!
I always say the best things are found a bit off the main path. This is true for this little bar & grill right at the entrance of Reedsport off of Hwy 38.
Tucked between a line of worn, paint chipped vacant buildings sits what I assume is the best little local bar for miles. (I've tried Mexican, American Seafood, burgers and bars between Drain, OR & Reedsport)
Serving a particularly normal small town bar setting, it has an undescribable charm that pulls you into your seat and makes you want to relax and enjoy yourself for a while.
The music playing was "Luck be a Lady" by frank Sinatra when we entered, followed by various folk, R&B, Rock n' roll, and country songs from the 50s to 70s. The patrons at the other end of the bar sang along to the familiar tunes.
We ordered Fried pickle spears, a Chili burger and the chicken strip basket.
All of the food was delicious and I particularly enjoyed sitting near the grill and watching our food being prepared.
The friendly bartender checked in often amd offered many sauces. My favorite part, the ranch was both cold and not watered down.
My S. O.was so shocked by the quality that he said, "I don't even think McKays has produce this good", (referring to the local grocery store in town).
So - in summary,
Always leave the main road.
And serves some of the most normal things, phenomenally well.
We love it there! They are friendly and fun. We have been going there since 2001. We had our wedding reception there in 2006
Nice little bar with pool tables and nice people. Stopped by for a late snack on the way home.
Walked in sat down with coworker and we were being told we couldn't have our service dogs by the tender. I asked if she needed to see my dogs ID card and she stormed off unpleasantly. She finally serviced us but the place was really busy and it was just her as the tender so it took a bit.
Halloween night was nice and quiet, because all the gouls and goblins had to rest from the party days before!
Good people, good service. It's definitely a hometown bar, but even outsiders are welcomed with open arms. I would definitely suggest this place.
