Dennis is the best. First time crabbers here, and we happened upon the best (and only open) bait shop in Tillamook on New Year's Day. Dennis was super cool and friendly and knowledgeable and patient - and set us up with a great crab ring, rigged and baited, for a great price. Plus he shared a ton of great tips. Got us hooked on crabbing. Can't wait to come back.

We are staying in Manzanita and decided to take a day trip to Tillamook to see the creamery. I had been looking for a good place to grab a pole and try out some Ocean fishing since I have never been before. The folks at Tillamook Bait Company took great care of me! Dennis was awesome! Obviously extremely knowledgeable about all things, fishing, crabbing and clamming. Was extremely helpful picking out a good spot to crab and clam and took the time to explain proper tactics and techniques. If you want expert old time advice, some good stories, fair prices and some good conversation stop by. Can’t recommend this place enough.

Best fresh bait anywhere on the Oregon coast and you have to try Marie's scents. A must stop for avid fishermen.

Spent many hours at this store, Dennis is a great human being, Marie is too. They are great people and they have it all! They have old gear, new gear, Lamiglas. Their guided trips are also great as well. Had a lot of fun going out Tuna Fishing! Stop by you will not regret it!

The owner is amazing! Never steers you wrong in both tackle and bait. Avoid the big stores and come see this place. You won't regret it.
