Tio Pepe Mexican Restaurant reviews
22Tio pepe's is in my opinion the best Mexican food in town. Has been our family's go to when we want a fun quality meal for years now. Awesome margaritas!
Its fine for good food. It's the typical family Mexican restaurant. Could have a lil more pop but all in all its a good place to eat.
I have eaten food from here a few times and every time I was pretty happy with my service and food. This time I had to pay $7 extra for a dinner portion and I seriously barely had any food in my box. So I paid $17 (without tip) for cold carne asada with little beans and rice. So thanks alot Alfredo for overcharging me for small portions that were cold. If I ever buy from here again I will not give such a generous tip.
Tio Pepe's is an awesome restaurant and it was Judy's and my first dinner out since the Covid-19 started. They always have great food and great service and we were happy to patronize them for our first dining out experience. We Highly recommend Tio Pepe's Mexican restaurant!
A little slow and the vibe isn’t the best but the food makes up for it! Best nachos, carne asada burrito and flan I’ve ever had!
It was OK. Service was bare minimum at best. Food was alright, I ordered a combo plate. All of the food on it was barely past warmed. The Chile relleno tasted freezer burnt and the cheese in it hadn't even been heated long enough to melt. So it's decent, but I won't be back.
The combo plate was hot and delicious, very tasty. The service was fast and delightful. Good atmosphere and decent prices.
We have been going to Tio Pepe's for many years, all I can say is it was better before the new owners took it over.
I always have to share my food with somebody because the food is so big! This place is a great place for the whole family to go and chill. 5 stars
Started really good great margaritas, chips and salsa. Hubby got the bacon wrapped shrimp, the bacon was great, shrimp was not cooked, don't know how they could even do that. I had the shrimp in cream sauce, my shrimp were a tad over done, but the sauce and rice were great. If I'd taken the shrimp out of the hot sauce they would have been fine probably. Was enjoying the great rice. His shrimp weren't deveined either. But it all tasted great (I cooked his shrimp in my cream sauce: D
Best Mexican restaurant I've found since moving to Eugene. Miss all the great options in San Francisco.
Fantastic food and drinks, friendly and attentive staff, and this place is kept very clean. We eat here every time we come to Eugene, which is often!
Great relaxed family restaurant. My daughter and I love it. Also good for groups or parties. Friendly and fast and great service. Easy access on River Road and lots of parking.
Friendly staff and decent service but middle of the road food. It was not horrible, but do not understand all the rave reviews. This was my second time here and it will be my last.
Great Mexican food and wonderful service. Plenty of parking and easy access. I have been here several times and have never been disappointed.
Been going here for 26 years and although the owner has changed the food and service have not. Fast friendly service. This place serves authentic Mexican food. Portions are great and food is outstanding. I've tried other local Mexican restaurants and this one has me coming back time and time again. Can't find one that I like better then this. Reasonable prices, great place to take the family out. Only thing I miss is the liveusic on Friday's that the old owner always had.
Fun atmosphere, good service, and delicious food! My favorite dishes here are chicken in mole and enchiladas Puerto Vallarta.
I lived in Eugene for 30 years before moving away and visited Tio Pepe’s for at least 20 of those years regularly. We went there last night for dinner and the item I always used to order tasted very sub par, much less meat and mediocrely seasoned. I got to wondering if the owners changed hands. Checked online and sure enough, the original Tio Pepe owners are gone. Super disappointed and will never go back.
Ok not my favorite and they don't have wine which I like with my meals. Too many refried beans on plate but edible.
