Cashiers are friendly at the check stands, and you can always find good deals. The only thing is that their undercover security needs to be less obvious and less creepy! At first I thought it was some creepy guy and was about to say something!

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE! They don't take the security tags off all of the clothes at checkout and then refuse to take the tag off later or issue a refund (when presented with the original receipt). I've been scammed. Don't let it happen to you too.

Customer service was perfect! Sophia was so sweet and took care of everything i needed, so helpful and so nice

Great location offering good deals on multiple items. Clothes to cookware or jewelry to gym equipment. This place has a little bit of everything. I'll be back in the future.

Love TJ Maxx and Homegoods, but this location is always a mess and the employees are not friendly.

I haven't been in the store for 7 years, I am back in Portland now, it was same as I reminded it, great price's.

2023: I have to update review (2 stars). Bathrooms were closed. The closest bathrooms are in Winco and it just is a major inconvenience for a store of this size to not have their own public restrooms. Shelves were adequately stocked though.
2019: 4 stars: Wish this tjmaxx was as stocked as some of the other locations in pdx!

Experience Prices are high.quality of products Poor.
Cashiers extremely rude and unhelpful and pushy. I was followed through the store I was profiled. I am a black woman in wheelchair ‍? !

Homeless come into this store with empty bags and you all won’t stop them from stealing?
Jeez. I can see why prices go up.
Thousands of dollars down the drain once again because this area has NO SECURITY OR POLICE who stay in this parking lot.

Time to hire bigger security who are there 24/7 even when the stores are closed. People know how to pick locks.

It’s not just TJMAX but this store needs stronger football like security instead of small skinny girls who only walk around.

Clean, lots of stuff. Great for unique foods, spices and cooking oils. Tons of great clothes and self care stuff.

This is a great place to find all the wonderful things you didn't know you needed. The salespeople are helpful and friendly. The prices are great. They just need more shoes!

I couldn’t decide between 3-4 stars. But went with 3 because this place has gotten worse. Ive been going there for probably a decade, and I feel like now there just isn’t anything good… compared to Marshalls. No variety, bad restock, everything is gross scents, barely any autumn candles. I was disappointed! Also very bad selection of baby things, but there is more pet things…

My favorite places to look for holiday decorations, dog toys and dog beds. They always seem to have really cute stuff at great prices. Staff is always friendly and helpful and the store is dog friendly. (As long as your doggo is leashed and we’ll-behaved)

Great store! I usually go to Ross but I have to say I love this store more. The selection is amazing and prices are great!

I used to love TJ Maxx…shop here all the time. I had to make a return and sent my husband to the store. He had the wrong receipt and they said they couldn’t look it up on his card so to save time he just went with the store credit (knowing I’d obviously be back to shop more). I indeed went back to use the credit and upon checking out was told I couldn’t use it because my husband had to be there with his ID (what?) so I even offered to show a copy of my marriage certificate but they said there is absolutely NO deterring from the policy. It was literally less than $20 and having worked in retail for years I know there is ALWAYS wiggle room for customer service. So rude and so sketch. Never had a store refuse to take store credit before and while I can understand why some of these rules are in place, I could clearly prove that I hadn’t just bought this store credit on Craig’s list or been given it by someone (though TBH if you want to give someone your store credit, you should be able to). BIG THUMBS DOWN. Beware if you expect you may have to return something and are not a perfect human always capable of keeping every receipt every time

They do a good job keeping the store tidy and the customer service is typically pretty good

There's always something you want that you didn't know you wanted until you see it, and you're so glad you went in!

I got some really cute pants. But I was really there for bras. The bra section gave me bad anxiety, I really don't like the way it's chaotic, not sized, just thrown together. So I didn't get any bras or underwear. It was fun shopping there though besides that.
