As others have noted, the road is *rough* but the trail around Todd Lake is beautiful with great lakeside views of Bachelor and Broken Top and the ridge trail going up to Broken Top is lovely, not terribly arduous and leads to gorgeous alpine meadows and stunning views into Broken Top's blown out caldera.

Must have vehicle with decent clearance. Road is terrible
4wd a must with snow
Nice 1 hr walk around the lake

We just stopped here for a quick picnic along our travels. Area was beautiful and looked like a great place to camp and ride horses.
