Tomorrow's Verse ~ Taproom & Bottle Shop reviews
15Love this spot. Great rotating craft beer selection, down to earth bartenders, and a chill environment to knock one back. Cheers!
Beer
16 rotating taps with really good selection of everything. As a IPA drinker I always find 3-4 options to choose from. The cooler is usually stocked with beer you would not usually find at corner stores. Mostly from local microbreweries. Mix and match and make your own 4-pack. Or pop one open for just a $1 here so if you want to switch from taps. Kegs do rotate often and there is a new beer every time so it is always a good surprise if you like variety. 16oz or 20oz options. I think they do half pours in some beers too.
Music (and events)
‘North Portland Phish Bar’ is the four words you would describe this bar as. Socialize with other Phish fans or get in your zone with Bluetooth headphones to listen into. Music events include but are not limited to Phish Live streams, music bingo, BlueGrass and Brews nights. There are Drink and Paint events by the art store next door. Simpsons Trivia Night can get real competitive and fun. Other than being a go-to hangout spot for many regulars.
Ambience
It is in the Fremont art district next to a lot of local businesses in walking distances. Walking distance from Grand Central Bakery, adjacent to a local art store Breeze and Branch who host paint night here sometimes. In the same complex you would find a children book reading place, art store, beauty bar and a cannabis store. During summer, bluegrass events and all music events utilize the common area which adds to the fun.
Management
Owner TJ is awesome. He owns and runs the place. Loves the Phish band. Loves beer. As a former educator, he is real understanding of people’s needs and very knowledgeable and respectful to people’s needs. He usually hires knowledgeable people.
Great people, wonderful selection of adult beverages, music of all sorts to keep you entertained everyday of the week, and Music Bingo. What more does one need?
A diamond in the rough. Great vibes. Comfortable and cozy. Welcoming and chill. Superb rotating selection of craft beers on tap and in cans. I hear the wine is excellent as well but I’m not a huge wine drinker. Dog friendly. They host daily group activities, live music, and events that bring the community together. A great place to grab a few fresh local beverages, especially if you like fun.
Such a great vibe! Top notch customer service w a smile and top notch beer selection! Could not recommend enough!
Best place in the neighborhood to hang out. Everyone here is friendly and welcoming, they have some cool games to play at your table and a good selection of beverages. Sometimes they have live music or stream Phish shows. They don’t have a kitchen but you can bring takeout from any of the great restaurants in the neighborhood.
Love this place! Always a great tap list, solid music playing at a volume that allows you to have a conversation with your companions. A must for all you Phishheads!
I went there with a friend. Another friend had a bluegrass jam there. I don't drink so I had a CBD drink. It was quite good. There food menu is limited but they have wine and beer, including Ginger beer. Bartender does it all and he is very nice. I will go back for the music and drinks.
Great beer spot for you and your dogs! After walking the neighborhood my dogs loved being indoors. Great selection on draft and even more selection on a cooler including smoothie beers. They have a few vegan snacks as well.
This was a great place to stop on an afternoon walk. I could sample various local beers in smaller glasses, and they have pizza available from a local store. The owner/bartender was super friendly. Fremont Street has many hidden gems.
I met some friends at Tomorrow's Verse in Portland the other day for some beer's. I had a friend recommend the bar because of their nice beer selection. I was also told they had good music, however while their I didn't hear much music. There was indoor and outdoor seating available. Nice large tables to accommodate larger groups of friends. The bartender was friendly and knowledgeable of the beer options they offered. Nice place to hang out with friends.
Most coolest bartenders in the whole world— AND the coldest and best beers. Coziest atmosphere.
One of the best places to hang out, play games, try amazing beer, meet new people, hear local live music, and experience the Northeast vibes of Portland. Tell only your very close friends.:)
Went on Tuesday Bluegrass night with friends and fam. Had a Kombucha and Pasty. They were great! The music was amazing. So much talent in the circle. They have all kinds of games to play also. We did trivia and Shut the Box. What a fun evening. Love the decor.
TJ is an excellent host, has great music constantly playing, and has created a relaxed, fun atmosphere. The beers on tap are carefully curated, and if it's not on one of the 16 taps, you can find what you need in the broad selection of canned beers.
