Torex ATV Rentals-Direct Dune Access!

Great place to rent bikes to ride on the dunes which are a 7 minute ride away from their workshop/store front. Their staff is really kind and nice. They gave a full tutorial on how to ride the bike and what safety precautions one should take.

I think they should give each person a instructional sheet to carry with them which lists how to solve common problems people may face in the dunes and how to solve them. That can help save the time of beginners who have to call for a rescue in the dunew.

It costs $40 for 30 min and $60 for an hour which we found a bit pricey.

Visiting the dunes was a highlight of our trip to northern California. My wife and I rented 4 wheelers from Torex and were very pleased with the units that we got. Service was great and the staff was friendly. We only rented for a half day and wish we had rented for a longer time. It takes a little time to get comfortable on the 4 wheelers. They give a class about how to safely enjoy their equipment on the dunes. One thing that we learned is that you should not stop while going up a dune. When you do that, the rear wheels dig themselves into the sand and you have to lift the rear of the 4 wheeler to get moving again. There are dunes of every size from small ones with gradual slopes to really big ones that may be 100 feet or more tall. This is not for the faint of heart but people who are reasonably fit should have no problem. My wife and I have quite a bit of experience on motorcyles and that helpd a lot. Incidentally, I am 70.

Highly recommended. Plenty of machines, in good condition. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Quick and easy check-in and check-out. No hassles or gotchas. It couldn't have been a better experience renting from them. And the riding and the dunes were superb!

Been in 2x. Both were 5 star rides. Have to say i am surprised I enjoyed the side by side better than the single quad.

We thought we would rent a vehicle and take a peaceful ride down the beach—even asked about beach access up front.
Not until we got out to the dunes were we told we really couldn’t get to the ocean. “Just have fun riding the dunes. ”
What a waste of money—oh and no refunds at all? We reserved for 2 hours and were back in 40 minutes. Maybe 1 hour of fees could have been refunded?

We had so much fun with the Honda Talon 1000R that we rented from Torex this weekend. Wish this kind of thing was available in our home town!

Awesome place

Rent right off the 101 and take your vehicle on a 5 min ride to several acres of sand dunes.

You can take it real easy if you like or ride up and down steep hills for more advanced riders

We did it for an hour, but probably coulda went for 3.

The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Very fun great service. I would imagine that the machines are in good safe condition. (I am not a mechanic) they run really well. Just don’t get stuck they are really freaking heavy. I had a great experience. It was my first time on a quad. If you were or are a beginner like me definitely get a low cc machine.

Really nice people. Fair prices. This is where you want to go. We had a blast. Even found sand dollars at the beach.

Never been to Oregon or this place, but the reason I’m giving it 5 stars is because they have Banshees for rent. If I’m ever in the area, I will definitely rent a Banshee with these guys.

Staff was friendly, rental process was quick, and everything was explained well. I had a blast, spending two full hours out riding around.

Super nice staff, very helpful. We had a great time with 4 adults two teens. Rode for an hour and a half, plenty of fun!

I went with my family and on the way they was very anxious because they don't know how will be this place plus weather unexpected could.we had fun and they really enjoyed.to be their first time they were in love with this place and the people who works here, we got lost for a little bit and they went to look for us.they are very nice and we are very pleasant to rented again soon.

Epic family time! We enjoyed this so much. For us for newbies, everything was easy to do. The machines were a snap to figure out even for the kids! Guide out to the dunes was charming and it was one of most favorite memories from our vacation!

Amazing place, very friendly, accepts all payment, no reservations needed. Fun place to go with the family and this is why we keep coming back to this location.

OMG! So much fun! Asia and a couple of the younger gentleman helpers were awesome! Definitely recommend renting from here, but only if you want to have the best time ever!
