TouVelle State Recreation Site reviews
17Beautiful park. Clean. Very little vandalism or littering present or noticable. A little expensive if you just plan to take a quick walk, but that might be why it's so nice.
Great park for birding along the creek, and Rogue River. Lots of varied habitat, and nice trails! Merges with Denman Wildlife area at the (east?) end, and a multi-mile loop can be made here. $5 daily use fee is well worth it for the upkeep and cleanliness of this park!
Great local park very clean many BBQ areas right on the rogue river great for day use or a even walk for the dogs. $5 parking no attendant cash only.
Wonderful place for family events.
Lots of hiking trails. The Rogue River flows right through. Restrooms and bbq sites are also available.
The trailheads not so big like I thought it would be but the park overall is a great Park very quiet very clean very peaceful worth the trip great place to take your family sit by the river and get in if you want to try to work around you if you don't want to go too far out tyea rope around you
Sweet state park that runs along the Rogue River. Decent trail and a ton of picnic tables.
We held a group picnic here. We found a large 100'x 100' grassy area in the shade of huge trees with about 5 picnic tables. Could not see the river from there, but a beautiful area and nice and quiet. Nearby restroom building. Huge adjoining grassy area in the open where the teens played games. Also right next to parking. Get there early to have your choice of locations.
This is one of the best Riverside parks in all of the rogue valley at least in the Medford area! Lots of picnicking swimming on the north side of the river easy access from Medford and plenty of games and lawn for running around on the south side. There's also lots of hiking trails out to the east if you go up River on the south side. That would include the Ken denman wildlife area with lots of birds and ponds to the southeast. Great restrooms and horseshoe pits and plenty of party areas!
Very nice park alongside the river. Spacious with plenty of shade and picnic tables. Nice bathrooms. Even though it was Saturday it didn't feel crowded. They have a nice covered pavilion. Plenty of river access for fishing and tubing. A nice walking path, volleyball pits and horseshoe pits. Overall nice place to spend a day. There is a $5 day use fee. Even found a painted rock.
It should be called access to the river, no hiking, crowded parking lot, overflowing with ppl
Very nice recreational area. Very well maintained site. Has good spots to access the Rouge River.
Great state park! Never a bad day to stop in and enjoy the river and hike. Plenty of parking and bathrooms and picnic areas!
Beautiful place to have a picnic with the family. Get your Oregon state park pass to save money if you frequent park
Nice place to hang out and just relax. If you use side closer to CP, take the trail need the end and walk a few minutes to a nice area to wade in the river.
Lovely little spot to take a quick walk with the dog & look at the river, but it was a bit secluded & we encountered a really creepy guy who pulled up on us while no one else was around. We got out of there shortly after he showed up & started rambling wierd stuff to us, so be aware it is quite secluded so folks especially women should know this before visiting alone.
Cute park. $5 for day use. Shelters available to rent. There is horse shoe pits and volleyball nets. Clean well kept bathrooms. NO play structure for kids to play on.
Super nice area to walk trails, play volley ball and barbecue. It's a great place for a birthday party or any gathering and good spot for kids. We always have a lot of fun here.
