Trinity Episcopal Cathedral reviews
7Daily open drug use and dealing. One of the least safe places in our neighborhood. It’s a beautiful historic building, but with the steps covered in trash and burnt foil, and the smell of fent/meth smoke in the air, it’s the worst part of my commute.
This place is unique on its own. One of the old buildings in Portlands metro. Architecture and the design is definitely a historical place.
In addition to thought provoking sermons, the choir is top notch and the large pipe organ is magnificent. Trinity is well known for its music. The congregation is filled with loving and welcoming people. They have childcare and various programs for children. It is lovely to be part of the Trinity family.
We love coming to Trinity! They have excellent programs for children and families (and adults!), the music is incredible, and the sermons are always thought provoking and interesting. I especially love their focus on radical hospitality and being a welcoming home for anyone, regardless of what they believe, who they love, or where they come from. If you are looking for a spiritual home, you couldn't do better than this wonderful congregation.
This is a community of people lovers who walk the talk of God So Loves EVERYONE.
Trinity Cathedral, Portland, OR, is an extremely open and welcoming, energetic, multigenerational community. From it consistently inspiring worship services, solid education and formation offerings, and "roll up your sleeves and get involved" outreach to the wider community, it provides a spiritual home for everyone who enters, on-line or in person.
I have been attending this church since 2004. Quality of anything this church offers is exemplary - service, music, adult education, children education (especially Godly Play classes), lay ministry, I can go on and on. Spiritually, emotionally and intellectually, it is so fulfilling to experience this church in its magnificence! Since covid, we hardly attended this church in person, but any time we needed support, the clergy, the staff, the community, offered us prayer and support even before we asked for it. It is a privilege to be part of this church.
