Tritac Shooting Range, Salem OR

My husband and I took the basic handgun class and we were very pleased with their training and their willingness to help. Only one suggestion charge 5 dollars more and offer snacks and or lunch

Fantastic group of people that ran the training class and rage perfectly. I would recommend anyone wanting to understand guns visit this range and take their training.

Just shot my first gun at the Beginner Handgun class they held. Everyone I came across working here is very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. Even though I was definitely nervous at first, as I had zero firearms experience, the instructor knew what he was doing and did a great job of breaking down basic handgun safety and mechanics. I think that most of the anxiety I had around guns was not knowing how to operate one or how they work; learning how to hold one as well as disarm one safely took away a lot of the initial reservations I had, and James did a great job emphasizing safety during class. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that has little to no handgun experience, but would like to expand their knowledge, as they make the learning process safe and fun, in that order.

First time at Tritac yesterday as and it was a super good experience. Staff was very professional and friendly. Facility was clean and well organized. Great prices if you need/want to rent a gun to try out.

I am dealing with joe trying to get my gun returned. In short i will contacting the BBB they are extremely rude including forcing me to wait more than 30min for a refund. On top of there not compiling with federal law.

Just completed the basic handgun class (level 1) with James. He was very patient and informative. He gave personal attention where needed and we able to shoot after instruction. I would recommend Tritac and the instruction to anyone wishing to learn.

I purchased a single membership and practice 2-3x a week at Tritac. I enjoy shooting there because the range is indoor and heated and because the staff are so friendly and helpful. It really is the best range around!

I was very nervous to shoot my new glock, as it had been 15 years since I last shot. Joseph helped me a GREAT deal. He observed my shooting and gave me pointers on stance, my aim, holding the gun more effectively for better control, and other helpful advice. My confidence has been boosted immensely. This is the best range I've ever been to and I've been to quite a few. Great staff that go above and beyond to help their customers. Awesome for beginners and experienced shooters alike. I highly recommend Tritac!

Had a great afternoon using the new sights. Great staff. Pleasant, informative, and polite. Great facilities. 6 lanes, and BUSY! That’s a good thing! It means they are doing it right! Put more rounds down range this afternoon than I have in years. Trigger time is always good. I’ll be back again!

These folks are some of the most down to earth ppl (as long as ur following the rules), helpful l, knowledgeable, polite, team. Its always a pleasure to go in an shoot, so thank you.

Staff is super helpful. Can be a little pricey. Still a great way to blow off some steam in a convenient location in town:)

Damn fine place to shoot. Professional employees and a great selection of rentals. We will definitely come back next time we are in town.

I would not recommend this place at all! Especially for new shooters. If you accidentally hit the ceiling with a bullet a employee will yell at you to never do it again or you will be kicked out. I loved this place years ago but now it’s horrible. I am very mad I spent my money there to shoot less than 30 minutes. The employee’s comment to me made me not want to shoot in fear of being kicked out! I will be taking my business elsewhere!

This range has three best staff in the area! The wife wasn't into shooting and didn't want to go to a range. She knew I loved to go and surprised me last year for Valentine's day and took me here. With the excellent staff and rental weapons she was able to feel confident and try something new along with discovering a weapon she enjoyed. We've been going here ever since! Great place to go!

My wife took me here 2 weeks ago, and the staff their have a attitude. I asked simple questions, and got short answers, in all my life I have never gotten such a bad vibe. The next problem is that they don't have any regard for safety and my wife asked if we can leave because she didn't feel safe.in my recommendation, we will never shoot here again.as I see in the reviews, some other people have had the same problems.they also overcharge on ammo, 50% markup.but just my opinion.good day sirs and misses

@ CODY CLEMMER As a member who was in the range at the time, your the one who made the safety violations and had to be removed for everyone elses safety. Oh and getting an attitude when being told to correct your screw up shows why guys like you shouldn't be allowed to have firearms. I bet Tritac has it all on video if you want to push the issue. Thank God the staff is watching out for everyone's safety including yours!

Good range but staff treat you like an insurgent. One of the staff actually told my son that he thought i wanted to "take the room temperature challenge". Gun ranges are dangerous places but many of these staffers need to lighten up!

One of the younger guys working there treated me with alot of sarcasm and attitude when I asked questions about the range. Also was harrassed about my choice to not entirely conceal my pistol. I will never shoot here unless that DB is no longer working there. I'll make the drive to Lebanon indoor range.
