Bar Tropicale reviews
13This place is so cute, and everyone was so nice! Immaculate vibes and the food is also super tasty! Will absolutely return!
Fun little tropical bar with a nice heated patio. Drinks range from classics like a very good Piña Colada to inventive twists on other rum/tequila/mezcal drinks
Really fun Portland spot with great drinks and fun menu. Always come here when I'm in the area.
The margaritas are pretty tasty and a good complement to the Arepa Vegetariana. The covered, heated outdoor seating was the perfect was to enjoy outdoor dining on a cold, sunny day.
The cocktails are delicious! Everything is very tropical as suggested by the name and I have yet to try something I didn’t like. The patio is warm and dry and worth visiting no matter the season!
The piña colada in an actual pineapple is amazing! Small and unique menu. Something for everyone! I got the tostada and my partner got the torta. Wonderful people and a great place to grab some grub with friends! Go check it out!
Wish they would sell single tacos, but they only do two taco "plate" no sides. Only sides they offer chips & salsa, chips & guacamole, or salad.
Great place in a hot day. The outdoor misters were refreshing and the pina coladas outstanding!
Tropicale was a really fun spot to enjoy HH with some friends. The whole piña Piña Colada felt like a bit much, but honestly it was well worth it! Super delicious and fresh. Only reason I didn’t give food 5 stars is because I didn’t personally order any. Many people I was with ordered food though and said it was very good! Don’t be too intimidated by the long line to order- it went quickly.
This place was such a nice surprise! We were in the area and not sure what to do for dinner so we started to walk. We had initially planned to go to rolling fresh, which shares a building with tropicale, but on our way to the door we saw all of these beautiful pina coladas that people were drinking. It was a hot day and we couldn't resist the temptation so we decided to go here instead. The food was great, the apps were great, and it was easily, the best pina colada I've ever had in my life. I don't know what they did differently but they have the perfect mix, but the perfect balance. We will be back for cocktails ASAP
This is such a great spot for an afternoon cocktail on the patio. Their piña colada served in a whole pineapple is amazing and surprisingly a very fair price. Me and my friends usually will split a mezcal flight as well which is perfect for sharing. They have a small food menu but if you don't see what you are craving there are several other food options that share the same space
Went here a couple years ago and had good food. Went back this week and was super disappointed. Got two piña coladas, and both were melted and just a warm liquid. The meat was over cooked in the taco, and the aguachile didn’t come with any cucumber as advertised. The aguachile was served with only a spoon, but none of the ingredients in it were small enough to actually be eaten with a spoon. It was a really strange meal and pretty disappointing compared to when we were there a while back.
Admittedly I only came for a short visit and only ordered a standard (non alcoholic) pina colada but it was one of the best dang things I've ever tasted. Cannot recommend enough.
