Tumalo Cider reviews
15I really appreciate the variety of ciders. You are guaranteed to find one that fits your palate. Nice and helpful staff.
I did a flight of 5 and these were my choices.
Prickly pear cider- mellow tart flavor, slight earthiness, little happy (lol spellcheck- hoppy) background tones. Would pair well with a big fat juicy bacon cheese burger with Garlic Bacon/Gorgonzola loaded fries.
Crangerine- an immediate pop of citrus, tangerine flavor, traditional cider mouth feel. Can really taste the tangerine. Semi- sweet tones. Would pair well with a baked Cheesy casserole.
Stone Fruit- the peach & plum tones are more up and I can taste the mango in the back. Dry tones would pair well with marinated grilled chicken & grilled peaches. I would love to try this as the "wine" in a sangria eating the fruit at the end of my drink.
Pineapple Passion Fruit- powerful Pineapple tones up front and the passion fruit ends a dry sweetness to this cider. It's acidic but not in a bad way. It would go great with a hearty lasagne.
Raspberry- before you take in your fiist sip, smell the enticing Raspberry bouquet. It has a traditional cider mouth feel with a dry Raspberry finish. It would be nice to enjoy on a hot sunny day.
Would pair well with a fudgy chocolate brownie. Really enjoyed this one and after each sip I wanted to grab that brownie! This was my favorite

Google says it’s open, operation hours on the building indicate it SHOULD be open, but was not open, with no signage indicating why. Pretty disappointing as we don’t live near here and went out of our way to visit while we were in the area. Still love their ciders though…
Spent ~20 minutes waiting in the lobby waiting for someone to help us. We said hello many times and dinged the bell at the counter and never were acknowledged as there. We could hear people in the back room but never actually saw anybody.
Probably a nice establishment but 20 minutes is quite a long time to ignore would-be customers in the front. With full access to register and tap.
Always many options for local ciders and beers! A lovely variety of cider. We had two flights. One of cider and one of beer. Strawberry habanero was amazing! Not too sweet like you’d expect out of strawberry and not spicy either. The two flavors mellowed each other out nicely. Hands down favorite was the bright pink strawberry mojito. Again, not overly sweet and not overly minty. Had the perfect balance of both.
Nice outdoor patio. Across from the food trucks.
Drove 20 minutes just to go here. Says they are open until 6pm online, but they were closed. Very very disappointing.
Been awhile since I've stopped in to see what's fermenting at Tumalo Cider and I sure wasn't disappointed. I ordered a flight and couldn't find a flavor I wouldn't order as a pint. It's definitely worth a pit spot if you're a fan of ciders and traveling on highway 20.
Love that more places are offering cider! Clean location, small seating area inside but several outdoor spaces. They also have some beer. But lots of several cider flavors. There are food trucks across the street. Friendly service would go again!
Found this place purely by accident but I'm glad I did. My bf and I both deeply enjoyed our ciders and the atmosphere. It's a cool little local place and has a great vibe. They don't offer food but there plenty of food trucks across the street. You are welcome to bring in your own food. They will even can their drinks for you to take on the go.
They don't make food here, but you can bring in food to enjoy while sipping ciders. My friend and I each had a flight and enjoyed all of them. Super tasty ciders, a bit on the dry side. Stop in if you're around or grab them in stores. Definitely a great cidery.
Amazing options on flavors, incredible Plum Ginger, and the Peach Habanero I'll definitely have to come back to. Great food trucks right across the street, and Tumalo Cider provides a beautiful atmosphere for a family friendly afternoon out - even a great selection of games for all ages!
I only left a star off because I wish there was one or two options of sweeter ciders to balance their full menu of dry cider for those of us that like to combine sweet and drys. But hey, when you specialize this well, who could blame you?
Kiddo got a root beer by Steelhead that I'll never forget. Most amazing root beer I've ever had. Honestly. Hands down. The root beer man. The effing root beer. For real. Do it. Do the dang thing.
Great cider options. My favorite is definitely the Huckleberry and Lemon. Returning visitor.
Small, social hangout to enjoy a variety of ciders with your friends! Dog friendly, indoor and outdoor seating. Grab a bite of food from the food trucks across the street and enjoy your cider of choice.
Best cider I've ever had, I just wish it was closer to where I live but my wallet is thankful it's not.
Clean locale, attentive and friendly staff, good atmosphere with easy access to food. To be clear, they don't offer food, but there was food available across the street and signal for the "food pagers" worked there.
Cider was good! We ordered two flights and got to taste them all. Just FYI: Tumalo Ciders are on the dryer side, so if your looking for real sweet cider, the closest was "Nectarine" but it still wasn't REALLY sweet.
