Don't have employees that overdose on drugs in the bathroom during their shift. It took almost 2 hours to get the truck I reserved. The employee that was helping me had to call 911 after hearing weird sounds from the bathroom and checked to find his coworker passed out and barely breathing, he had wait for paramedics to arrive before helping the customers. A line had formed, He was so calm as if he does this at work a lot. After the paramedics left, the overdosed employee walked around went behind the counter of the store like he was gonna just start working again.no apologies no frickin shame. Like it's a normal part of the work day! Ridiculous and gross. Im glad he didn't die but man get it together! Uhaul, maybe offer some support in getting clean? Portland experience? I had my own emergency to deal with and this unprofessional uhaul location caused me more stress and trauma. It took way too long before I got the truck to leave this wack location. If I didn't have an emergency and needed the truck asap I would have left. I definitely did not want to spend my money here. The two employees that did help me were very nice and its not fair this is the environment they get to work with.

Severely and chronically understaffed. Had to wait 30 minutes just to pickup a reservation.

Took forever for them to find the reservation. Once they did, the amount due did not match what I was quoted online, but I paid it anyway. Make sure you read the fine print! They dont tell you anything about filling up the tank, or that you will be charged a $30 fee for them to do it. I was charged an additional $98. Not worth it!

I contacted Uhall after finding out that I couldn't rent a car from the airport for an event that I had. I called Uhall and they were able to accommodate me the same day! I got to them in 45 minutes and the rented a van to me with NO PROBLEM and the deal that I got from Uhall was WAYYYYYYY better than the other place that I was going to go with. I HIGHLY recommend Uhall for and needs that you may be considering! Call Uhall FIRST is what I learned. The customer service was very good, I have ZERO complaints. Thank you Uhall!

I want to say a personal thank you to Jody Boerke. The GM at U-Haul of Portland OR. She went above and beyond my expectations. Finding a replacement trailer and helping me secure a truck rental later that same day. Her smile was greatly appreciated. A true asset to the U-Haul company. I use your service quite Often. Staff are indifferent to customers. The Truck did not drive well and seems to not have been serviced in a very long time. Did not feel safe. The smart phone self-check out and app are terrible and a complete waste of time.

Do yourself a favor and go to a different location to rent a truck. Reserved online, waited 40 minutes and then told the price is $80 higher than it said online. I just walked out, never again

Daniel was helpful, efficient and professional. He also displayed fabulous leadership qualities, working with a team where you could tell they were new. He was supportive and friendly.

Rented some reusable boxes for my move, even had to extend for a couple extra days. The employees there were very nice. They loaded and unloaded the heavy boxes for me. Only wish I could have rented more than 15, but luckily that's all I could fit in my car.

The crew here is Fantastic! The Manager is Amazing! You always have to wait in line at Uhaul but it was eveident they were attempting to help everyone as fast as possible. I have been using Uhaul for 30yrs and this was the best experience I have had by far

The map has you turn and come in the exit gate. You should turn on 74th to enter the lot correctly. Then be aware the two men working here may be working on their own vehicles while you wait in the office.

I called to try and find utility dollies, because the place I picked up the truck from had none. They sent me to a neighborhood dealer that had no idea what I was talking about, and no dollies, so I had to call again and hope that the next place I stopped at had some. They did, but I wasted valuable time on moving day trying to track things down. It was very frustrating.

The truck was fine, and easy to check back in.

This U-Haul location is absolutely terrible. Go to one of the locations in the suburbs if you want to get your reservation without an extremely long wait and actually receive what was reserved.

Don’t waste your time. I went to this location 3 times over the course of 2 weeks and the “staff” gave me the same response, “We don’t know how to do that, and we’re the only ones here”. Save yourself the headache and go to a Vancouver location instead.

This was probably one of the least professional experiences I have had. Employees who didn’t appear to know how to do the job function, vehicles that were supposedly ready but not checked in on the computer system. Our vehicle was not cleaned or wiped down between users. The cargo mat was all folded over and sideways. The interior cab was sticky from spilled liquid. There was an anti-collision sensor that was blocked or faulty and kept a dash announcement dinging. The interior of the van reeked of gasoline such that I had to drive with the windows down. The staff inside grumbling about co-workers in front of clients. And then I arrived back at 10 minutes to 5 and the doors were locked, lights off even though the door sign said open until 5. I was required to do self check in.

Offers propane 7 days a week, but when I went to refill propane, they said there was no one who could fill it. I understand everyone’s suffering from being short staffed, but do not offer a service if you won’t do said service.

Fantastic customer service! Super friendly and very, very helpful! This is my go-to for U-Haul rentals and moving supplies!

The truck smelled like cigarettes and had no gas in it. The check-in paperwork was 140mi off and a quarter of a tank mismarked. I could not change the mileage and the man working advised me to take a picture and email it to U-Haul. I have done that, but I have been charged $89 for driving 186mi when in reality I only drove 41mi. This is the worst experience I have ever had with U-Haul, and I look forward to a refund of the $89. This was my official review to U-Haul, and they prompted me to share on Google at the end, so here it is.
