Umpqua's Last Resort - Wilderness Cabins, RV Park and Glamping reviews
8Didn't book a room, stayed in our RV, but it was a charming place, friendly staff and quiet. Loved the dog trails through the forest and down by the river. Enjoyed the hot springs and visiting a couple waterfalls close by.
Amazing stay! Loved the retro RV and the host was great! Site is pretty close to the hot spring and all the hiking and waterfalls you can wish for. There is even a convenience store at walking distance and they have breakfast burritos and coffee. Thanks again!
This was a great find! We stayed in one of the little cabins during our trip to Crater Lake NP. It was great! Everything you could need including smores kits, separate towels for the hot springs and showers, clean showers and bathrooms, friendly staff, comfy beds, etc. Wonderful time here. We were sad to leave and hope to be back!
Absolutely loved my stay here. It's an amazing glamping experience that's a must have. Great staff, very friendly and knowledgeable. The prices are great too.
Really enjoyed our stay in a big Safari tent here. Easy access to a small beach on the river across the road. Good hike to some hot springs & water fall. The place was quiet at night. The Safari tent had everything you needed in it for a relaxing night or weekend. No cell service, no tvs made for some good peace & quiet to unwind and reset yourself. They do have Wi-Fi for a small fee if you can't live without your phone for the day/night/weekend. There's a little country store 100 yards from this place to grab drinks, something to eat, ice & gas. Definitely a spot to hang out with your partner & just relax together. It was a little hot during the day and the portable a/c was trying its best to cool things off without much luck. But it made for a nice cool night in the king size bed. Don't have pics of the tent but it was nice and big with plenty of room to walk around in. But have pics of the beautiful S. Umpqua River right there.
Honestly, it’s a pretty campground but the yellow jackets were relentless! We couldn’t eat outside as a family, 5 of us got stung during our stay. We had to buy our own wasp traps and spray. And then one night the crew moved the sprinklers right behind our trailer after we were asleep and it completely soaked our bathroom (window was open) and my niece got a surprising wake up shower coming through her window due to the sprinkler being turned on in the night and coming through her window. We moved the sprinkler but it was moved back.
We had a great stay at Umqua’s! The RV was very well equipped and clean. The location was perfect for a day trip in Crater Lake and the staff was extremely friendly, thank you!
