5This is a very valuable commodity to the community of Union County that is very under used.
Very nice complex. Old fashioned, small town fair setup. I love going there
So many dedicated, hard working volunteers make this week long Fair possible. Probably the best part is visiting the farm animal building and seeing what the 4H girls and boys have produced in a year long effort. They certainly learn what discipline and commitment are. The Fair is a wonderful display of talent and hard work in Union County.
I going there every year, ever since I was a kid. I the camaraderie while getting to eat the various fair food: and getting to enter my poems; also get to see the hypnosis show, or be in the talent show.
It is sad that we fear something that has a 99.9% recovery rate. It has been thirty years since the last time I went to the Union County Fair. I am a truck driver who stopped and took a thirty minute break in the chain up lane on I84. All lives matter.
