We had to ship 12 boxes of books to the UK. Unlike the staff at NE Hoyt, these folks knew their stuff and dispatched all of them quickly, smoothly, with a cheerful and calm attitude. A pleasant surprise!

This Branch SUCKS plus they never answer the Phone then it sends you to a Phantom operator who if actually exists it just rings and rings forever. If the USPS was not bailed out by the Government it would have been bankrupt years ago.

I've been here about a dozen times. They're rarely busy. They've always met my expectations and have yet to lose something. Keep in mind they are taxpayer supported so their main focus is getting you your mail, and only secondarily soothing the entitiled.

This was my 1st visit to this location and it was a pleasant experience. Joseph did an amazing job customers service wise and even gave me tips on mailing options that’ll be more organized & sufficient for work records. Before I was assisted unruly visitor entered the facility. Joseph was pleasant and patient w/ this person. He treated them like a human which seems to be rare in Portland when our comes to house less and citizens w/ mental illnesses. Kudos and great job up Joseph and the rest of the staff.

Consistent disappointment and frustration. Packages delayed for no reason (tracking info say they sit at the post office for a bit before being sent out for delivery), one package delivered but another to be delivered on the same day isn't for some reason and stays at the post office instead, people that work there look like they are eager for death and aren't capable of mustering even politeness and a smile. Customer service hold time is 45 minutes and their help form online has errors and doesn't work. Once a package of mine was marked delivered but wasn't, so I called them and we deduced that it must've been stolen. After I contacted the police and the shipper, USPS tells me it's actually just hanging out at the post office for no reason and I need to come pick it up. I've never had worse mail service in my life.

Always very pleasant and helpful staff however management has way too few personnel working the front and as a result it is terribly SLOW!

Great staff, always quick and kind.

I come to this office almost every day for work, and the staff are always helpful and professional, especially Robert and Ana. Occasionally there are customers who slow the line down, but in general if you're not trying to return a package from your friend in Singapore that just changed addresses, things go quickly here in my experience. I never spend more than 5 minutes in line on a usual day, even with only 1 person at the counter.

All of their collection boxes aren't collected until 4pm. So if you drop something off in the morning, it will just sit there all day.

WOW.this is the worst experience i’ve ever had at a post office. I tried to submit a passport application and the workers had NO idea what was acceptable forms of ID.a woman literally tried to tell me that without a photo ID I could not get a passport.this is simply not true.and they were extremely rude.

I dropped off some prelabeled packages today there was a very small line they had several people working. I was in and out very quickly. They must have on extra staff normally this time of year they are very very busy or maybe I just got lucky. The lady at the drop off counter was extremely helpful and friendly.

Somehow they actually lost 3 packages I dropped off there. This is the only time I’ve ever had something lost by USPS. Won’t answer the phone or follow up on my missing package claims. Unbelievable.

USPS is absolutely horrible. I filed a change of address exactly one month ago and I have yet to see a single piece of my mail. Every single person I've dealt with has been unnecessarily rude and unhelpful. Most notable is Alexandra Erickson, manager of this location. I explained that I haven't received my mail and that I paid the fee for the change of address service. Alexandra seems to think it's okay to hold people's mail hostage, and then force you to physically GO to the post office- in the midst of a global pandemic, I can think of few places that feel less safe than a post office, where mail that people have touched from literally all over the world circulates. I let Alexandra know I don't feel safe and inquired about a refund, and haven't heard a single thing from her. That was over a week ago. Meanwhile I'm waiting on bills and important mail, and we've reached the one month mark. This is so unprofessional and infuriating. I've tried calling the local branch several times but the 1-800 number won't connect me to anyone there. I sincerely hope USPS loses every cent of their funding, because it's absolutely maddening that I'm being forced to deal with such an unprofessional service.
