Upper Table Rock Trailhead reviews
21The panoramic view of all of Medford and the surrounding towns is great. The snow-capped peaks of Mt. McLaughlin in the distance are especially beautiful.
Really cool place with plenty of different views to choose from. The trail is short enough for maybe even a quick lunchtime hike and picnick if your fast enough and your lunchbreak is long enough. I think 45 minutes up and 30 minutes down is a reasonable estimate for the average flat lander.
This hike isn't as steep as lower table rock. But it will put your legs to the test by the time you get to the top. It's just a majestic trail. My 7 children and I truly love this trail.
Where do I begin to describe the beauty that is found at the top. A definite must hike if you ever have the privilege of being in the area
So.today was not a good time to hike table rock trail.lots of rain. Can't wait for weather to clear
Great hike. But don’t believe the guide books…. There’s not a whole lot that’s easy or kid friendly about this hike. It’s quite strenuous all the way up. Moderate to steep incline up and down.
This mountain had capture my attention while traveling on I-5.
I hope I could visit its mountain top trail some day soon
Nice hike and great views. There is a decent amount of shade while going up; however, once on top there is no shade.
I love this trail, especially early before the heat hits. In the past I have climbed it to watch the Sunrise over the valley and it is quite breath taking. It will take roughly 50 minutes to an hour to climb. Take water with you for certain.
Great quick 1 1/2 trip after work with rest at top. 90+ degree heat bur still manageable... And beautiful!
Short but invigorating hike to a great view of the valley. Not a dog friendly trail and keep aware of poison oak
It's quite a hike up and down. Lots of ankle bending rocks in the trail. Lots of wild flowers to make it all worthwhile and watching the cultures was an added bonus up top. Carry water. It can be hot and dry up there.
It is a great height recommended for 8. Lost of uphill climbing. Around this time of year very slick. Quite a bit of poison oak
Loved this hike! It's moderate to strenuous but worth it once you reach the top. Bring lots of water as it's a steady incline all the way to the top and in direct sunlight majority of the hike. Absolutely stunning views no matter where you look!
It was very good walk to the top and bottom
But there was spots where people dropped items and doodoo
This is an easy hike if you don't push yourself too much, and once you get to the top you have a spectacular view of the valley and the surrounding mountains.
The trail is all uphill and takes about an hour to reach the top. Once at the top, the views are spectacular. You can walk in a big loop to circle the plateau and take in all the scenery.
Nice hike, gently up hill, great view, around 1.5 miles to the top, beautiful twisted trees.
I had been told that dogs were allowed on the trail as long as they were on leash but when I got there saw the no dogs sign at the trailhead. There happened to be a sheriff in the parking lot and I asked him if dogs were allowed. He said definitely yes as long as they are on leash but they were not allowed a while ago under different management. It's just that no one took down the sign. This is a fantastic trail, my dog and I will definitely go back!
This was a wonderful experience, despite the fact there was fog when I climbed it. So why did I give it three stars? Because they don't allow dogs. They are afraid that leashed pets will scare wildlife? What about the people they let through. Us humans are probably scarier than dogs. I will do this again, just leave fido at home.
