Urban Farmer Portland

I used the word "insane" a few times to describe the food as I was eating it. Breakfast and dinner both insanely delicious!
A bit expensive for the atmosphere and portions, but very high quality food.

The food was hit and miss. What was good was fantastic. What was bad was tasteless and unfortunate. Nothing tasted bad. The drinks were good. The steaks were OK but disappointing for their price. The cheese was great. The deviled eggs were amazing. The fingerling potatoes tasted just like chicken top ramen. The mac and cheese was tasteless. The carrots and peas were cooked great. They had to discount our meal because the ticket was so long it cut off the last 3 items of our order and the items didn't come out until we were almost done. Good food but not worth the price when so much was hit or miss.

Salad was flavorless, smashed potatoes were actually mashed potatoes and if I wanted mashed potatoes I'd have preferred basic buttery mashed potatoes with fresh herbs I've made myself, steak was 90% ok last 10% was raw, scallops were pretty good (though I've had better) and the risotto that came with the scallops was also disappointing - the flavors just didn't work for me. The highlights were the complimentary corn bread and a mystery mocktail. Service was fine but could be better.

Im not sure of its the pandemic, but something didnt hit right. I've been here a couple pf times prior to the pandemic but this time qround im not sure if they changed the menu or the vibe is just off but i wish to come back again soon when everything is back open.

Excellent and well priced happy hour menu. Wonderful gem in a niche downtown hotel. Highly recommend the bone marrow and oysters.

I really don't like this experience. The service was slow, seems like if you going solo does not get you the appropriate service, and leads to think that is a differentiation on the amount you are going to expend.

The taste. Bad, I ordered a salmon didn't enjoyed. The flavor of the salmon was completely lost and masked with other vegetables juices.

Too expensive. Don't worth it. Better go other way.

Great steak. Friendly service. My steak was a bit too well-done but they responded appropriately (still tastes good nonetheless). Interior is a bit funky but I like the modern design.

Small nitpick is that the pinot noir should not be served in room temperature but a bit lower.

Delicious food, warmhearted services, cozy dining atmosphere! Worth every penny! Highly recommended!

Everything was great. I kind of wanted a little more intimate location, but the huge vaulted ceiling was great. All the food was amazing. The server was prompt and knowledgeable. The celebrated our anniversary and made is feel great.

Weird aesthetic and environment (inside a hotel with no natural light or windows and somewhat dated decor - if that matters to you) but that aside, they unfortunately messed up the steak order twice. Food was good otherwise. Also made a reservation for an evening in which they had a loud company party happening in the same vicinity - kind of degraded the class and environment. Good hotel restaurant but Portland has far too many other options now.

Urban Farmer is the best "highscale" steakhouse in Portland, trust me, I've been to most of them. The steak was cooked perfectly, and the sides were great! Usually it's one or the other. The staff was nice and helpful. I'd definitely love to eat at Urban Farmer again.

Staff are great and the place itself is fantastic. The food is good, but not sure if it's worth the price.

The place is inside a hotel, a unique place. It's like a restaurant in the courtyard but covered with high ceilings. The servers were really nice, the food was spectacular. I ordered pork Benedict which comes with a English muffin, I replaced the muffin with a biscuit which they were happy to do it.
I bet this place would look really nice at night time. Must try.

Though I've been here for dinner several times and always loved it, I was surprised how great this was for a business lunch. The service was great and it was a nice menu for everyone at the table. Volume level was perfect for 6 people to all be able to hear each other.

The food is to die for at this place. I have only been there twice but have tasted about 10 different things. The main reason to go here is because of the steaks. The bacon deviled eggs are also tasty! The atmosphere is great as well. I would love to go once a week but I'd go broke.

Great bartenders/servers, wonderful farm to table menu. Innovative and wonderful design. Truly a treasure of Portland.

Service other than cheese was really mediocre though, slow, steaks came out wrong, really dampened an otherwise great experience.

Best breakfast in town. Everything was organic and very tasty. I recommend this place for tourists who want high quality breakfast in comfortable space.

Bloody Mary bar and the steak & eggs make this a great place for brunch. Charcuterie was brill too!

Wow. Great food. We split a salad, ribeye and the roasted carrots. Everything was excellent. Grass Feed beef. Must try it.
