U.S. Bank Branch reviews
8I've had such bad experiences at some of the other branches that I can continued paying $7 a check for two years to cash my checks. But my experience at this Branch was so good that I'm glad I opened up a bank account with them. I wish I had gone there sooner. Would have saved me some money.
Consistently understaffed, with wait times of 20+minutes before you're spoken to. Opens at 11a multiple days a week. Staff have told me they can't help and sent me to other banks, only to have different staff say that was wrong on my return. Spent over 2 hours across 3 trips trying to deposit funds and get a cashier check. The staff themselves are nice, but management needs to figure out how to run an organization so there isn't a line out the door waiting on simple transactions. All while Usbank makes $100billion in profit, can't afford a couple additional employees.
The manager Melanie is not only snarky, but is not very good at communicating. I will be transferring to a credit union.
This bank has only ever made one small error in many, many years of service and a huge number of transactions. I love their products, too.
But the highest kudos go to Matt. His work and attitude are consistently outstanding. I always want to let the other customers go in front of me until his window is free. (But I don't, because that's weird.) He is so fast and always very pleasant, and doesn't complain about my massive number of deposits. Makes me happy to bank there.
I came in to cash a check that was drawn on US Bank. I gave the teller my ID and a US Bank debit card. When she gave me the money back she shorted me $7, when I questioned her she said there is a $7 fee for a non-customer. My name was written on the US Bank debit card, she said that it is not a valid account even though it does not expire until 2024. I told her that I would like a receipt and she told me they don't have one, I told her to write it on a US Bank receipt like Matt did last time he cashed it and so she did.
She was very rude and condescending and it seemed like it was a problem because she had to give me money even though I don't think with them but the person that wrote the check does.
What a bunch of scammers it's a form of intimidation just to get you to open up an account. I wouldn't bank with anyone that charges people when I give them a check, totally ridiculous and thievery
Amazing. MATT is awesome! We were early to our appointment & he recognized us immediately. His 5 years + exceptional service. Great people skills and very organized.
Even in the most difficult times, the staff are courteous and eager to assist in whatever way they are able.
The manager is a nightmare. Rude, condescending, argumentative and worst of all an absolute liar. I came in asking for help because a US Bank ATM malfunctioned and suddenly transactions from 10 years ago are now in dispute. The tellers are very nice but this manager is terrible.
