Valley Immediate Care South Medford

These people are awesome. They go the distance and then some. Very professional and courteous. Don't rely on the VA in white city as they are a constant source of disappointment.

I have gone to this location two times. Both times their billing has been atrocious. I went in for the first time between eight and nine months ago. I was very pleased with the check in process and the medical service which was provided to me. While checking out I was advised that my co-pay for the office visit would be $46. I advised the employee handling the billing/check out that my supplemental insurance pays any co-pay that my primary insurance does not pay. We went back-and-forth for a few minutes and I finally had no choice but to pay. I contacted my supplemental insurance the next day and they advised me that I was right and the provider should not have charged me the $46. I fought with them for the next 3 to 4 months and they never returned my money.

A few days ago I had to seek urgent care. My choices were this clinic or one of the two emergency rooms. I checked waiting times in the emergency rooms and I found the wait was 3 to 5 hours. I obtained the medical treatment at this clinic that I needed and once again I was pleased with the check-in process and I was extremely pleased with the medical treatment that I received. This time when I went to check out I was advised that I owed just over $110. Once again I advised them that my supplemental insurance would pay for any part that my primary insurance did not pay. We went back-and-forth for a few minutes, and I paid so I could leave. I contacted my supplemental insurance the next day and they advised me that I was correct. I should not have been billed anything. I contacted this clinic’s billing department and I received many different excuses and figures of money that was owed me. They agreed that I should not have been charged anything for the second visit nor for the first visit. I explained that I had put in a lot of time and effort trying to get them to repay my $46 from my initial visit many, many months before. The person that I spoke to said that she saw I was owed $20 and change from my first visit. I told her that I paid substantially more than the $20. She took a few seconds and said that I was owed $25.83 from my first visit. I told her that figure still wasn’t right but I was tired of arguing over such a small amount of money. The billing department employee never did say when or how I would receive my $110 and change for my second visit.

My advice is this: if you don’t mind getting charged money that you don’t owe, you should go here because you will receive excellent medical treatment. However, if you are concerned with getting charged $50, $100 or more that you should not be paying, then go to another medical provider.

My first experience at Valley Urgent Care on Barnett in Medford (and my first experience at any urgent care facility) last eve was wonderful. I suffered a corneal abrasion and they took me in immediately late in the evening shortly before their closing time and all staff provided me with excellent professional care. I was extremely impressed with their expertise and I highly recommend them.

Finally, a place where I got the best help & answers. Thank you all at immediate care south Medford. Your experience there will leave you feeling alit of hope.

Everyone was terrific at the clinic, but I especially want to give huge kudos to Dr. Caldwel for being so easy to talk to and for enjoying our conversations. He is truly a wonderful asset of your clinic.

Doctor Miguel and the entire orthopedic office have been a refreshing presence filled with joy and wisdom as well as the levity we needed in light of our broken bones! The help and support we needed as well as communication was awesome. Thanks to everyone there!

The staff was very friendly and the provider was professional and helpful. I was able to get my medication filled there on site. I am very thankful that they were open until 8: 00pm.

Please keep up the great patient care! People need kindness when they are in pain or very sick.

I would like to add that they were very efficient and seemed to work together to get me in and out and on my way to recovery. I was not rushed and I was asked good questions to find out what was wrong.

Valley Immediate care is an outstanding facility. They provide excellent care. They addressed all the issues that I had in a friendly and professional manner.

This place was amazing especially with all my anxiety. Dr. Barker and his staff Jeff and Jenn were patient and understanding simply the best. I am actually excited to go back and see them in March which is saying something sense I really did like doctors. They were amazing team. Thank You Guys so very much!

I have had very pleasant experiences at the south valley immediate care in the past. However, after this visit I honestly would rather wait in the long line at providence urgent care than come back to this place. The provider that helped me was very nice but other than that i felt like the staff couldn’t be bothered to help out. There was one specific staff member that i felt like was extremely rude while i was leaving. Wouldn’t recommend this place to my family or friends

Obtained app. Quickly day before. Had to wait 50 minutes before seeing anyone. Got Covid, Flu test. Waited another 30 minutes, saw two different staff and got results after another 25 minutes. Appt was for 9: 20am left the building 12: 13 pm.

The dr that saw me was super nice and understanding. It actually felt like he cared. It was nice.

Very caring & friendly staff, especially tech Jeff and Miguel Barker. Jeff carefully guided me through the X-ray process for my hands. Miguel Barker was very thorough in explaining his findings, making sure that I understood everything, and allowing me to ask questions with patience and kindness. That is a rarity in the modern medical process, and I'm so glad I ended up here!

My visit at Valley Orthopedics was amazing, the staff really made me feel comfortable and Miguel Barker PA-C was very knowldgeable about the nature of my injury, and was able to refer me to a hand surgeon to continue the care, Thank You Valley Orthopedic, Reguards Mr. Ebbert

Very helpful nurse. DR Wilder is great. But unfortunately I'm worse off than I was before I came in. The nerve pain is horrible
