Van Horn Park

A little more damp now with fall in full swing. Some grassy areas are in shade all day and dont dry out.

I do wish there was a lil more fencing or partly wall to separate the grass from the parking lot and from the walk in area so i feel more safe and or comfortable letting my dog of his leash with out tailing behind my dog or him trying to play around with a leash rapping around him or whipping him in a way that could trip him and hurt a lag him joints anything. And one last thing also a man and best friend for filling and drinking water area.

My dog has been attacked 3 times in the past year by unleashed large dogs even though this park is a leashed dogs only. If you have a smaller dog keep a sharp eye out. Remember you and your dog are at a disadvantage because of your leash.

Bathroom smelt like cigarettes so badly I refused to go in there with my son who had to pee very badly I know that's not the parks fault other than that I've been coming here since I was a child no needles and the park area is very clean!

It's very family friendly, lots of space but still a more reserved area.

Very nice peaceful park. I go there on my lunch and walk the tennis court. I know it sounds funny, but they don't have a good "walking" area, so I just walk the perimeter of the tennis court. They are not usually busy.restroom during certain times of year and great for a little lunch spot. Usually that's all I see is people parked eating lunch!

Great Basketball court, wish there was a line for 3 pointer. But overall the park was a cool place to be.
