I spoke with TC last week to sign up for health insurance and he quoted me the wrong price for the plan I was requesting therefore when I questioned the premium going up without notifying me he changed my plan to cover his mistake of misquoting. Before I paid my premium I realised I was signed up for the wrong plan and called to question it and I've been calling and emailing him since Monday with no response. I do not recommend this company because of this dishonesty and lack of professionalism.

Kevin Brown was exceptional! He listened and heard my needs, made recommendations and guided me along the way. He made a task that I was dreading seamless without being pushy. He gave me options both verbally and by email and set up a time to call back. He understood that I needed to think and weigh out my options, he was patient and answered ALL of my many questions. Thank you Kevin for meeting me on my level and being so helpful. I appreciate you so much. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Velapoint and Kevin!

I do not recommend VelaPoint, once you submit your insurance application, aka: once you've given them your money, they turn completely unresponsive. The employee I worked with was Joseph Taylor Little. He was polite during the initial call and when I had a question, pre-application, he responded quickly. After I submitted my insurance application and had a question, I was NEVER able to get ahold of him. All my question was was how long the application would take to process. I called multiple times, left multiple messages and he never once called back or answered the phone. No one else at VelaPoint would assist me either, they all told me when I called the main line that he would have to help me and that they'd pass the message on to him. Honestly, I've had less-than-good customer service before, but I've never had a company completely ignore me. And there's apparently no recourse once you've given your credit card number because no one else you call there will help you either. Definitely stay away. Terrible Terrible Terrible.

Juan Pablo was fantastic! I made a call appointment and he was on time with the phone call, helped me select the perfect plan which was not only affordable, but literally everything I was looking for! He was very pleasant on the phone and throughout the whole process which made the entire experience thoroughly enjoyable! He definitely knows what he is doing and should be commended for excellent service! Thank you again Juan Pablo for everything!

It's difficult to leave a 5 Star review about dealing with an insurance company. But, after struggling with other companies, VelaPoint helped me get it done pretty easily. They get 4 stars.

The information and help I got from Nicole was very good and gave me confidence that I was making the right decision. I just didn't know that I was talking to a business by the name VelaPoint Insurance. When I received this request for a review, I first thought it was one of those many spam/ fishing emails.
But I still like Nicole K. W.their representative.

Perhaps due to my own lack of tech savvy, &/or time issues, I did not easily find comparison info on the 2 lowest cost plans.which had over a one hundred dollar difference between them.also.in this survey about my experience. I must say THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I AM SEEING THE NAME VELA POINT! While I was offered a "pay now" option, taping that choice sent me on an endless loop of non action.ultmatley I made 3 different calls to the customer service #s offered, (this took over an hour), ONLY ON THE THIRD PARTY I spoke with was I told my account had not processed yet & so could not accept a payment. WHY then was I offered "PAY NOW"?
Overall, if I had a choice to do it again. I would NOT.

I am unable to give you a true rating because I have not had your insurance long enough to be sincere that being said. I can only give you three stores because of the length of time please send out another rating form in six months if that’s OK with you guys I think you so much for your time and consideration in advance. Agent Naillon was absolutely amazing! He was able to answer my questions and help me find coverage that was best suited to the needs of my family. I am truly grateful for being lucky enough to be able to have such a wonderful and capable individual to assist me.

Jesse Mays helped me feel like I was talking to a friend when trying to find insurance. Instead of making me rather want to go to the dentist like I thought the experience would leave me! If everyone had custom service like Jesse the world would be a better place!

Charles was the very nice (and extremely patient) man who helped me when I called on the last day of Open Season, frantically trying to find insurance so that I could get OFF my (ACA) BCBS plan, which had gone up to $2600 a month! For ONE person!
First of all, I didn't even have to wait on hold for an hour to get a live person! Charles picked up immediately and I was so surprised to hear a live person on the other end of the phone that I thought I must have misdialed the number!
My entire conversation with Charles was wonderful! When I hung up the phone, I felt complete RELIEF!
And the follow up I got from Charles was seamless! So much so that I could hardly believe it had actually been done. Already! It just seemed WAY too easy! Wow. I'm still stunned, in fact, that not only am I already signed up, but that I will now be paying a FRACTION of what I was paying for the ACA-sponsored plan!
