Verdell Burdine Rutherford Park reviews
14Fantastic park that feels tucked out of the busy paths. Fun new play structures and set up. Very open space with lots of room to run and play. The day we visited was during some strong eastern winds, so there wasn't really anyone else there.
The water fountain needs to be turned on or fixed and more shaded areas. Now is not the time for it to be broke or off in the sun. Otherwise there was free lunch for kids and friendly people.
Great place to have an eight year olds pirate themed birthday. Don't liv in Portland but daughter and grandsons do. Had the youngest grandsons pirate birthday there and it is wonderful for everyone. Love that there is a waterworks fountain that is designed to allow children to play in water while pumping the water and other ways to interact with hydraulics. Can be used as a teachable moment if you're so inclined.
Great park! Really cool layout. Nice big fields.
Only negative was figuring out how to get in there. If you are driving there is no like clear entrance. Just little side streets that open to park.
It’s a very cute little park. Very complete for kids to have fun. I did not bring my kids bikes, next time I plan to do it. It was very clean when we visited.
Nice park except if you don't live there there's NO place to park
It's like the backyard of 50 houses that surround it
A park hidden in a neighborhood. Not too busy and there is plenty of room for kids to ride their bikes.
Amazing park my son always loves to come and play here, the park is very obstacle course type fun! He climbs and pulls and pushed and runs! Good workout
This place is a really chill spot to bring the little ones. Tons of little objects to climb on, they have swings, slides and a whole bunch of random activities to do! Today was not packed at all. Assumably because school was in session.
Where do you expect people to park their cars in order to visit this park? POORLY PLANNED. Seriously whats the point of a park you can't access without disturbing the neighborhood.
I'm usually here during sun up or sun down, just a nice quiet ride through on the bicycle. The park would be a pretty good spot for the kiddos. Also large fields and covered picnic tables.
This park has been remodeled recently. Lots of temperature friendly structures on hot days
Seemed like a decent place, although it's not your average park.not all too much for small children to enjoy
It's nice and everything looks clean still theres a restroom a drinking fountain and a small water play equipment type thing
