I went to this location to upgrade one phone. Was told there would be a one hour wait. That turned into two and a half hours, with still a person in front of me in line. (While waiting, also found out that those with an appointment took precedence over anyone who was waiting in person.) Despite the clear need for quick service times, there seemed to be NO urgency on the part of sales personnel to move appointments forward. Half of the employees took a lunch break (instead of staggering them more efficiently) which also contributed to the ridiculously long wait times. Employees who could otherwise help people were instead "staffing the door" to check people in. It used to be that the person entering the store did that on a computer. Employees are better utilized by helping customers. NOT standing at a door.

The wait is too long and for a place you are supposed wait twenty minutes and then spend hours getting your phone transferred, how are you not going to have a public restroom. No, I don’t want to go the the resteraient next door to pee, as suggested by the staff.

The store is useless. I was given a lot of promises when I went in to get my new phones which were supposed to come to about $165 a month. First two bills were almost $600. Rick told me to the first bill would be high but to come in and they would take care of it. Wrong. The manager told me I could point at Rick and what he said but that doesn’t change what Verizon’s charges are going to be and they have no power to change the bills. As if it’s fine that he has an employee lying to customers about what their future bills will be. Instead I’m told I would need to call financial services. I feel like I was robbed. Don’t trust why they say. The contract is what matters. I wish I had read it instead of listening to Rick’s explanation.

When you come in to get service they help you a bunch but once you sign up with them they send you to customer service which doesn't help with a darn thing. Verizon is supposed to have top-notch service, I can't even get phone calls at home in town! Thank God for T-mobile

Would give 0 stars if I could. Apparently customer service is a lost art. Let me get this straight, Verizon. I spend 400$ on a phone and a 35$ upgrade fee (insert eye roll) and am told that I can not have any help transferring my phone over. If they spent literally 10 minutes with me to just ensure my contacts popped up or to give a few tips, that would make all the difference. We are a military account with years of service at Verizon. I am absolutely mortified by the nickel and diming of this establishment not to mention the robotic less than friendly people “working “ there. I will be shopping for other carriers to give my lifetime business to

Staff come right over to help you, but I feel like they spend most of their time trying to sell you things you don't want or trying to get you to upgrade your phone. I'm beginning to wonder if they work on commission.

Stephanie & Felipe were so kind. I was coming home from work and my phone suddenly lost its ability to use its SIM. I needed a new one ASAP as I use my phone for work.
I went to Verizon as soon as I got off work and got thereat 5: 49, they close at 6. I explained my situation and these two employees stayed after they closed to ensure I could get my phone working.
It says a lot when employees go above and beyond to help someone, and I really appreciate it.
To the Managers at this Verizon: Please give Felipe and Stephanie a raise ASAP!

Update 10/27/2022: I won't go back to your store for wasting my times there, good luck on your business.

During past couple years experiences with Verizon, they will overcharged your bill if you don’t pay attention, call the customer services but they always transfer to someone else but never fix the issue. So last time I went, I was giving them the last chance and told them how I felt with their company, they seems like want to help you but unfortunately, same thing happened. I would give them 0 stars if I could. I had an appointment at 3 on Sunday (10/23/2022), but we left like about 6. We had been in the store for 3 hours for returning their defected iPhone. 3 hours after they told their system went down so they couldn’t do anything, they promised will give us a call and fix the issue in next day, but they never. Mustafa was the one who took this case, he exchanged phone number with me, gave me his works cell phone number so he can give me an updated but guess what, he didn’t even pick up your phone the next day, didn’t even give you a call it’s really disappointed.

If you can’t do, just tell me you can’t. Don’t waste customers times, and your times.

I spoke with Angel and he was super nice and VERY helpful. It took him a few to figure out the issue but was awesome the entire time. Customer service seems to suck at a lot of places, not here tho! A lot of the “authorized” places are not as good as the actual Verizon stores. Went to 2 other places in Salem. This place is an actual Verizon store and great to deal with.

So I went into the local Keizer Verizon corporate store and here is what I was told:
We can have an unlimited talk text data plan if we pay by a Verizon Visa card or with our debit or checking accounts for $90.76/mo.
What I was not impressed with was of the three phone types we could get to switch out our 3G phone, they really pushed the Apple iPhone SE and highly discouraged the Samsung AO3 Android stating that the Samsung was the lower quality phone, surprised if it would last a year, and in the same breath said those people who are used to Androids have a hard time switching to iPhones, also that they will not set it up for you without charging $29.95, and suggesting to research the hundreds quote unquote of tutorials online to learn how to work whatever new phone we get. Not friendly or really interested enough to be helpful. That is why we do not like Verizon.
Thought we would give them a shot before calling a competitor so next in line is Xfinity that at least five of you recommended and my husband is highly interested in. Wish us better luck. Thanks you guys.

Unfortunately I absolutely hate going to the Verizon store. 1 they close at 6pm which is weird because most people aren't off work until then. Their customer service skills are HORRIBLE. I came in at 5: 50pm in hopes of picking up my phone that I ordered online and was told by a phone rep that it would be ready for me to pick up. Angel was who helped me and he insisted that it couldn't be there because I didn't receive their email confirmation. Ok? Great can you call their customer service number and figure out what's going on with my order please? His reply to me was no we are almost closed I can't do that and told me to lose my attitude and because of my attitude he wouldn't help me either. Lol yes I was beyond frustrated because the phone rep told me to come down to the store. Isn't it his job to figure out what exactly is going on with my NEW account. I just signed up for? Well Joshue his "boss" who clearly was his buddy from work. Said he over heard everything and that Angel didn't do anything wrong. So the manager thinks it's okay for the employees to stand by the door to greet customers just to send them away because they don't have time to help us. I just waisted two days coming back and forth to the store and twice wasn't helped out how I should have been. I highly recommend this store gets new staffing all the way to management. I will be going to corporate about how I was treated in this store and how Mr manager was no help. Make the trip to keizer where there customer service skills are much better and it's not a big ol party with a bunch of BFFs at work ganging up against a frustrated customer who just waisted her time driving to the store to find out nothing besides leave the store we close in 10 minutes. If I could rate these guys zero stars I would. Not a happy new customer at all.

Mustafa and Alyssa worked very hard to fix troubles caused by corporate. They were empathetic and focused on problem solving. They get the 5, corporate gets a one for lack of problem solving and not empowering local stores to compensate customers.

Similar experience as others recently. Had a great experience 6 months ago upgrading my phone. So I recommended to my wife to upgrade hers. We usually trade in the phone my son has and then he gets my wife's old phone and she gets the brand new one. This time such an endeavor was nearly impossible and my son's phone still doesn't work. I wish that they would have told us that this was too complex of an operation for Verizon and to not undertake it. Hours of online Verizon chat (truly a useless support service) and on the phone with Verizon the next day because they apparently don't have 24 hour phone support anymore for their phones and the SIM card still doesn't work. Tried to call the Verizon store but it's an 800 number because it looks they don't want to help their customers. Just get redirected to the same useless online chat that takes 2 minutes to respond to each question and can't understand such complex ideas as "my son's phone doesn't work" and get confused by the fact that my family account has three different phones and they repeatedly tell me everything is fine.
