Veterinary Cancer & Surgery Specialists reviews
16Dr. Freeman and her team took great care of our sweet dobie. We brought Thrasher for his chemo after the amputation and he loved everyone. They're all so warm and caring. Now we pray the cancer stays away!
Everyone was kind and friendly and they seemed knowledgeable. I wouldn't hesitate to bring another pet here.
Unfortunately, we only got to visit them once through no fault of theirs - I transferred my lymphoma pup to them when we moved and she was already on a downward trend with her veterinary oncologist from our old home. After our initial visit and their excellent plan for approach to trying to give my baby as much comfortable time as possible, it became apparent a few days later that despite everyone's best efforts, she was just done fighting and we opted to euthanize. I felt very comfortable with the doctor I met, the facility, staff, and the plan and I'd known going in that we were pretty end stage and there wasn't much they'd likely be able to do.
Have left multiple messages with their referral coordinator. My cat has cancer. One week later still no call back nothing. Time lost waiting my cat can not have back.
Our dog was diagnosed with mouth cancer and our primary vet recommended Dr. Sievers at Pet Dental Specialists. Dr. Sievers sat down and talked to us twice before our dogs surgery. She answered all our questions and concerns which helped us to come up with the best plan for our dog. We decided to have the surgery which went smoothly and our dog is recovering remarkably well. Dr. Sievers called the day after surgery to personally check on our dog. All of our interactions with any staff was a positive experience during a stressful time. Would 100% recommend.
Staff is exceptional, caring, and wonderful. They've gone above and beyond for us. We moved away from the area but still drive up to them for treatment for Zoe because they are they best. They are absolutely well worth it if you ever end up needing this sort of care for your pet.
I am so grateful for their care of Grimmy. Dr. Kang and staff have been compassionate, efficient, thorough, and all of the good things that you want and need when you have a chronically ill cat. Dr. Kang has been amazing. It must be difficult to deal with sick animals and the people who are grieving them all the time, but I'm so thankful for the team here at VCSS - I have no words. Thank you for everything.
Thank you VCSS for taking care of our girl Jada for over 14 months while she battled canine melanoma cancer. Her life was extended because of the treatments and vaccines she received as a patient in your care. We had so much more time with her then we initially thought, and we made sure not to take it for granted. We finally had to say goodbye to her two weeks ago.
The evening before we said goodbye, we took one last short, nighttime walk as a family and on our way home she led us straight to the front door of VCSS. I think that was her own way of saying thank you and farewell to you too?
Very professional and accurate reporting of dx and possible outcomes which was invaluable although not always the report wanted.
My family and I are eternally grateful for the excellent care our dog received at VCSS. Our dog has recovered beautifully from TPLO surgery. Dr. Wooldridge, along with the entire staff, are extremely competent, supportive, and kind. We could not recommend VCSS more.
My dog went in for surgery to remove a tumor and died hours after surgery due to their lack of precaution. They discharged her home and did not recommend overnight care, and later at home she developed a blood clot from the surgery and died an agonizing, suffocating death before I could get her to the ER. Upon doing my own research, based on her age, type of cancer, and previous surgery she was a high risk for this development and had they either warned me of this and the early signs in her discharge materials or strongly pushed me to book her overnight instead of strongly recommending full discharge, she would either be alive or would have passed with far less pain and misery. They did nothing upon giving me condolences. If you out your dog in their hands, it's going to die a horrible, painful and miserable death and charge you every penny for doing so. This is the most horrific, disgusting veterinary care imaginable. Do everything you can to find an alternative
Hard place to go to knowing your beloved pet isn't doing well! However every person that works there is so warm, loving and caring making it a little more bearable to go through the next stages of your pets life.
These people that work for this Clinic are the most wonderful caring beautiful people I have ever met in my life I truly truly thank God for them all the hard work they went through school to do this I admire them with all my heart thank you thank you thank you love you very very much all of you namaste from Judy Ann Michael and of course sateva
Excellent doctors and staff. They are helping us with our dogs congestive heart failure. She is doing very good now thanks to them. Saved her life.
Dr. Wooldridge has treated both of my rhodesian ridgebacks, and performed extensive surgery on my sweet Kimba last year. This is an extremely well run specialty practice, the customer service is excellent, time is spent with each client and patient as appropriate, technicians are professional and knowledgeable, and the level of technical and veterinary medical surgical skill is superior. I trust Dr. Wooldridge with the lives of my dogs, and they are priceless!
They are great with my highly anxious dog. They take good care and are very knowledgeable and friendly.
I trust them to the moon and back. They are taking great care of my girl since her cancer diagnosis. They have been so personable and caring through out months of treatment. Hospice care is difficult, but my dog's care team has made her more comfortable and allowed her to regain her quality of life.
