Great, short climb up Vista Butte. No snowshoe tracks so breaking trail will be required.

Beautiful backcountry ski, hike or bike. No dogs allowed during sno-park season. Parking is limited and roadside instead of a more traditional off street Sno-park. Vista Butte has great views and is far enough away from Cascades Lake highway to be fairly isolated from it's sights and sounds.
