Voicebox Karaoke - SE Portland reviews
13It's not a cheap night out, but it's got great service, facilities, and selection. Very clean l, too.
If I could give this establishment zero stars, I would. I have frequented this business two times now and thought that my first experience was a fluke and the staff was having an off night. I always give small businesses more than one shot but my second experience was just as bad.
The staff and customer service is hands down the worst I have ever experienced.
We had a big group, and had one of the staff members at the bar refused to serve our entire group because one of our friends had their mask on the wrong way. Once we resolved that “issue”, we were escorted to our room. Our server was downright rude the entire duration of our stay.
The second visit was just as unpleasant as the first. From the entry staff, to the bar staff, and lastly our server. Take your supporting business elsewhere.
Absolutely a blast! The staff are so accommodating for our service. They follow Covid regulations so me and my friends felt safe and happy as we belted Christmas songs.
Fun place for karaoke in groups. Private rooms that must be pretty sound proof as our group was loud and off key. Would be nice to take a break at the bar but Covid didn't permit that. The food was pretty good but I'd say a little expensive for what you get. Go during happy hour for deals on the basics.
It's nice to visit a place that doesn't feel like it's short staffed and struggling to keep up. Being out on the town tends to feel that way a lot lately, understandably. We had a great time at Voicebox last week. The facility is clean, the karaoke system is easy to use and great for a small group. The service was friendly and available, and the drinks were decent and average priced. We will definitely be back for more.
An employee at voicebox kicked us out of the room, because two people snuck in two beers. Because we then couldn’t stay an extra hour, they lost $200+ of business. Over two beers.
Idiotic business model and the employee that kicked us out was highly disrespectful.
Okay selections of music and food. I requested and order of curly fries and chicken strips for my girlfriend and after waiting 45 minutes finally received our food. Just doesn’t make sense that fried food takes almost an hour to make. And food wasn’t even seasoned.
Such a great experience! The staff are all fantastic, the drinks are delicious, and the suites are very comfortable.
A great place for food and drinks. The karaoke rooms are individual rooms so it's a great space during COVID to hang with close friends without worry.
Our server Andrew was great! Drinks and food were coming out fast. Voicebox is always a super fun, a must visit if you like karaoke!
Great staff. Great experience. Wish I had thought to request a few songs for their catalog, but overall a great space for a handful of friends to talk and laugh and sing together. Will definitely be back!
Always a fantastic time and experience there! Archer was fantastic to me and my loud, rambunctious group of misfits. Can't wait to go back!
5 stars for the fact that this place has tampons in their bathroom. Thank you to the employee that made this happen! You are my hero!
We always enjoy our time singing and the staff is so attentive and sweet.
Plus you can't beat having your own room to party and sing.
