Wagner Dental Care, Portland OR

This is a great dentist office- the team seems happy to work there and therefore are very nice to be around. I also appreciate the staffs willingness to work with our family on a plan that works for us- they are not pushy on procedures at all which we really appreciate. Keep it up, Wagner team!

Everyone here is so friendly and helpful. They are great at fitting us in when needed, and moving appointment around to accommodate us. Dr. Wagner is also great with kids and goes above and beyond to make it a good experience for them.

Went in for a routine checkup and xrays. They recommended I come back for a teeth cleaning soon. They billed my insurance $600+ for this visit. I've paid out of pocket several times and that seems extremely steep if you ask me.

Dr Wagner and his staff have always been friendly, professional, and caring in the way they treat me! Highly recommend.

This review is based off of the office staff - Dr Wagner is a wonderful dentist. My husband has been seeing Dr Wagner for over 10 years. I have been going for almost 8 years. I went in today to have a cleaning and was turned away because on their clock I was 10min late and they need time in between appts to properly clean due to COVID. I pulled into the parking lot at 11: 08, spent at least one minute reading their sign with tiny print on the front door, and called the number provided at exactly 11: 09 on my phone. No where in their communication to us did it state you would be turned away for being late.
I would also like to add when my husband had his teeth cleaned earlier this week, he had to wait outside for a while before they were ready for him.
I am nursing a newborn. I woke my sleeping baby so I could feed him before I went in - which caused me to be a little late. When I spoke with my hygienist on the phone, I told her that my husband and I will be looking for a new office. There was no apology offered. I was repeatedly told their hands were tied.
When I got home, my husband called to cancel his next appt and they had already done that for us. I'm very disappointed that they just wrote us off like this. 10 years of coming to their office and they clearly do not care about losing two long term patients. I thought I had a good relationship with my hygienist, but it seems that I was just another person coming in to have my teeth cleaned.
We also had trouble with their billing. They claimed to be doing an extra procedure when cleaning my husband's teeth and it would be billed against our deductible. He would continuously ask them not to do it, but would receive a bill each time.
I do not like switching dentist offices, but we've been so poorly treated by the staff that it doesn't feel right to return.

The entire team here is fantastic! I’ve been going here for 3 years and every appointment has been great. I highly recommend Dr. Wagner and his team!

Went here for the first time recently, after my lifetime family dentist retired. I'm impressed. The entire staff is impossibly friendly. Highly recommended.

Dr Wagner, his staff and associates are the best dental care providers I've ever received treatment from. They really listen to your concerns, discuss them with you to clarify, and incorporate them into the treatment plan. The quality of the work is excellent. I couldn't imagine anyone not having a very positive experience with Dr Wagner and crew.

I haven't been to the dentist in about 4 years and they were so kind about it and just did a great job in general! Lovely office and lovely people!

I'm 71 years old and have been going to Dr Wagner's current office and previous location since I was 7 years old. I have always been treated with the utmost care and I think of him and his staff as super professionals. I've recently moved to Silverton, OR, but continue to make the 47 mile trip to his facility because I know I'll receive the best care available.

I have been a long time patient with Dr. Wagner - longer that I can remember. I can't imagine going anywhere else. Love the new digs, too!

Every experience I've had at Wagner dental has been terrific. Dr. Wagner is incredibly friendly and professional and his staff follow suit. He worked at a fantastic pace, was very aware of any sensitivity I had, and I couldn't have had a better dental experience. His office is very nice (clean and new) and his staff is very profession yet absolutely personable.

From reception to his hygeninists to Dr. Wagner himself I couldn't be happier with my experience. Keep it up Wagner Dental!

Extremely friendly, conscientious, and efficient. I feel very comfortable and taken care of whenever I have an appointment. Dr. Wagner is very friendly but willing to be very upfront and open if you want to ask any questions.

I've been going to Wagner Dental Care for the past two years and highly recommend. Dr. Wagner has a "gentle" touch, is clinically excellent and reassuring during procedures. (I had a necessary crown this afternoon.) His Assistant is also excellent and the office staff is warm and friendly. If you're looking for a family dentist, you can't go wrong here.

Oh my. I got lucky when family and trusted friends recommended Wagner Dental. I have a history of bad experiences, but these people are the best! For once I left a Dental Office feeling that I was NOT a scum bag.but a human with some issues they could fix!
