Worst service ever. Frequent system issues and no regard for the incredible amount of time wasted. On my fourth visit to pickup rx and yet another issue.giving 1 star bec can't give negative stars.

Absolute garbage service. Third time I’ve gotten to the pharmacy hours after they said my prescription would be ready and told me I’d have to come back another day. Excuses range from “were really busy” to not enough stock to fill it. They could let people know instead of giving them a pickup time. Sometimes their estimated time for pickup was literally “a couple days. ” Yeah, I’m not doing business with Walgreens anymore. Especially the River Road location. Ridiculous.

Yareli Hispanic worker there. She worked as a cashier. She was so awesome. Helped us out with everything that we needed. She was great very caring very respectful and professional did her job. Very efficient. She did very great and enjoyed the way she treated us death. We would go back there because she really knew what she was doing and knew how to do her job great.

I live close to this store and come here about once a month. It's a pretty average Walgreens. They usually have what I'm looking for.

Also, I noticed a lot of negative reviews on here. I remember about a year ago, the nearby bi-mart closed its pharmacy, so this one and several others were flooded with way more scripts than usual. Sounds like they didn't handle it great, but I think things are better now.

It was even worse than a 1 star. Manager talked down to me when I was trying to send cash to my daughter. He decided since I was old it had to be a scam and wouldn't do it. I will never go back

I was trying to make some posters for a presentation. I needed them in 48 hours. First I went to Office Depot - lots of excuses, bottom line - they couldn’t make it happen, so Chris and Manager Nicole at River Road Walgreens did! Great posters, exceptional quality, great price! They turned a 20-year OD customer into a lifetime Walgreens customer!

Over an hour on hold with pharmacy, just to be hung up on. Misleading times posted online- actual pharmacy hours are incredibly limited

Use a different pharmacy. I don't know if it's that they're completely overwhelmed with patients or what, but don't rely on getting your medication from here, especially not if it's critical.

I waited on hold for an hour, and in that time the phone queue did not move - always "there are two people ahead of you. " I got a voicemail when I was waiting saying that my medication was out of stock for the next few days and to call the pharmacy if I needed it immediately.

Yes, I do need it immediately, thank you. I'm having my doctor transfer the prescription to a different pharmacy. If I'm lucky, I'll be able to pick it up tonight, but if I had been told earlier that they didn't even have my medication, I would have been able to transfer it and pick it up elsewhere by now.

They need to be open more hours. Period! People need their prescriptions!

I assume it must be awful to work here. You can tell by other reviews the kind of customers they have. That being said everyone is pleasant if you are and everyone is trying their best. I appreciate the location as it is very convenient for me.

I've got a great idea. Take over almost all of Bi-Mart's pharmacies and then cut your hours at the River Rd location. I am having to work longer hours at work so I can afford the luxury's in life like a $15 hot dog at Jerry's. I can't wait for our yearly health insurance increase at work. Everything has almost doubled in price and the customer service has been cut in half.

Honestly in comparison to all the other walgreens in the area this one is my least favorite. The employees are usually really cold/rude/short with customers. Anytime I have asked a question I get responses like "I don't know", they refuse to check in the back for anything, even if you ask nicely, I asked a specific question and the girl working legit said "oh yeah we have it in the back so it should be out soon" and that was well over two weeks ago and they still haven't stocked the item.

It's already ridiculous that a store with the primary designation of "pharmacy" has shorter pharmacy hours than nearby grocery store pharmacies. Additionally, when the pharmacy is listed as closing at 6pm, you can be turned away from the line before 6pm. When I asked store staff when the line cut-off time was, they didn't know. Apparently, the cutoff time arbitrarily changes. So I get to drive down here again on another day in the hopes that maybe they will let me line up.

By far the worst pharmacy in town. Daughter's rx sent here mistakenly. After not hearing from them on the fill, I called. After 25 minutes on hold, I showed up at the store. No one was waiting in line or at the drive through. I walked right up and got help. I said wow so I can walk right up but NO ONE answers the phone. Clerk just looked at me. I was then told rx wasn't filled because they only had 15 of 270 pills in stock. So why didn't you order more during the week we were waiting? Or call us? Daughter was out of medication so I said well I'll take the 15 and they said that will be a 30-40 minute wait. I waited. Was told they will order the remainder and will message me when it arrives. After one week, nothing, so I checked their system and there are no pending orders. Tried to call, waited on hold for 30 minutes and was the 2nd caller in line the whole time. Finally hung up and called CVS Caremark to get help transferring to them instead. I have had numerous terrible, similar experiences here. They once ran out of pencillin which I learned after an hour long wait in line and was then sent to another location. How does a pharmacy run out of pencillin? They are closed on weekends and also randomly close when their staff just don't show up. Do not use this pharmacy even if your life depends on it as you'll never get your medication.

I went in because I had my package through sephora sent here because it's a new option. I did not get any notification about it being there. The girl with the southern accent was super kind, but this older lady kept shaking her head at me and telling me I'm late to pick it up. I told her I was never notified. She kept making this noise and shaking her head when the southern gal was helping me.
Needless to say, I will not be picking up packages here again.

It was cool how I walked up to the Green hair lady at the counter (with my doctors office on the phone). She straight up told my doctor to call the store, refused to take my script over my cell phone. Then, when my doctor called the store line? Sat on hold for 25 mins before they rudely hung up on her. She’s now on hold (again). If she can’t get through, I’m stuck waiting for my meds until Monday (it’s Friday). AND this prescription was sent in Oct 25th. It’s now Nov 11th. Idk how they still get businesses to work with them. Providers are literally warning people to avoid river road Walgreens. I’m switching pharmacies. You’ve been warned lol

Rude employees. Went to photo booth and asked a couple questions and the clerk looked at me and said “I don’t know” and helped the next customer. Did not look for answer or call for backup. Worst service ever. Will not go back to Walgreens.

This pharmacy is the worst pharmacy I have ever tried calling or even trying to pick up prescriptions. They don’t answer their phone, and when you wait on hold for 3 hours, they hang up on you. Not only that when you go in to pick up your prescription you’re waiting another 2 hours to even get your prescription or even to get up to the front counter. Leena is one of the pharmacy tech managers and she is so rude an awful to deal with. When you call to complain about this they don’t do anything to fix it at all. Worst pharmacy I’ve ever gone through. Do NOT change your pharmacy to this one. You’re better off keeping the pharmacy you have. They should shut this one down
