Walmart, Salem OR

This walmart let's their employees purchase bulk collectibles, like Pokémon cards, to scalp them. Went in today to buy some games, and on the way out saw that FOR ONCE they had some booster boxes for TCG. I don't really collect anymore specifically because the cards are so hard to find, so I was really excited. There was an employee there on her phone looking at what I can only assume was a list of what to grab. After listening to me make a comment that they usually never have stock, she grabbed six or seven booster boxes and went to her friends register. Not only does her co-worker say "are you getting these all for him? " but she then offered to hold them at her register saying if she was asked about them they were "for a customer in the bathroom". I think scalping is pathetic behavior to begin with, but the fact that none of the other employees or management seem to care is worse. Your customers can't buy your product because your staff is hoarding it on restock days. If I were lucky enough to be employed during a pandemic, I would act a little more essential.

I went to buy a Walmart gift card for my daughter for Christmas. The checker put it on top of the bag carousel and never handed it to me. I had more stuff that I was buying so I forgot about it. When I got home I remembered she never handed it to me and it wasn't in the bag. I freaked out because it was $100! I went back to the store and a wonderful floor manager named Megan helped me for over an hour. She looked through the camera footage and realized it was the checkers fault. She looked for it and tried to cancel it but it didnt work. Nevertheless she gave me a new card! I am very pleased with their customer care. Thank you!

HORRIBLE SERVICE! NOT ONLY WAS I RACIALLY PROFILED, I WAS PURPOSELY HIT WITH A DOLLY AND CARGO ON WEDNESDAY EVENING 12/02/2020 BY ONE OF THEIR STOCKING CREW! DO NOT SHOP HERE

HAD A VERY RUDE CHECKER TODAY. SHE WAS BARKING ORDERS OF WHAT TO NOT PUT ON THE CONVEYOR. THEN GOT IRRITATED WHEN SHE HAD TO STAND UP AND SCAN THE PRODUCT. IN ADDITION SHE INFORMED MY FRIEND HAD SHE GIVEN THE GIFT CARDS BEFORE SHE STARTED SCANNING SHE'D BE ABLE TO TELL HER THE VALUE BUT SHE NOW HAD TO WAIT. THEN SHE WENT TO PAY AND WAS YELLED AT TELLING HER DON'T PUT YOUR CARD IN YET. I UNDERSTAND TIMES ARE ROUGH RIGHT NOW AND IT'S BUSY BUT I DONT APPRECIATE BEING YELLED AT. I SHOP AT THIS STORE ALOT AND HAVE NEVER BEEN TREATED IN THIS MANNER. I CERTAINLY HOPE SHE GETS TALKED TO ABOUT HER APPROACH.

Was standing in electronics for 20 minutes waiting for someone to come over and unlock a case so i could get something and one ov the employees came into the isle and walked away i hate this store because it happens all the time

I usually never have a problem here but Preston at the front exit really had to over due his job when he watched me pay for my hit coco yet he still proceeded to stop me violate social distancing just to "check" my recipe that was outrageous!

Below average. They are often out of stock of what you're looking for, especially in the clothing department. The good aisles have odd or out of place positions for particular products, and there almost is never any staff around to help what you're looking for. Overcrowding is a problem, and they have all the reason to expand to a supercenter.
Also, this is not a 24 hour site.

I want to give a shout out to a couple of the store employees by the name of Brandon and JJ for recovering money that I left at the self-checkout I really appreciate it and these two employees deserve some management attention thanks again

They literally dont sell paper coffee cups by themselves. Styrofoam or Plastic only. Ridiculous. Ice is $1.84. How is that even saving money. Winco has far cheaper food.

Not the best selection and often out of things you want, but this Wal-Mart has great customer service and is clean and pleasant.

Great place to shop customer service not to much. They were are know it all's who don't know much. Other than that it's great.

Loved our stay. Bathrooms very clean and lots of space to put your stuff while taking a shower. Grounds very clean, and management very friendly.

Not the largest selection available, but they got everything you truly need. The staff is friendly and helpful; the location is conspicuous and doesnt have too many sketch people rolling around. I live close by, so it's my go-to.

Seems to be good most of the time and if you point out an issue to a mgr they really seem to care and look for a customer satisfying solution.

They were making everyone use the self checkout because they only had one check stand open. I'm not happy at all.

Decent store, relatively clean. Maybe a bit understaffed as I had to wait a while for help in electronics.

I enjoy the smaller South Salem store very much. My online purchases are a quick pick up. The newly remodeled pharmacy with additional pick up windows makes for speedier service. All in all, the store well supplies most of my needs making trips to the Super store less often. I always have a pleasant experience at the South Salem Walmart.

Good customer service this time probably because it wasn't busy. This Walmart didn't have exactly what I was looking for so I had to settle for something else. I was pressed for time and this is a smaller store.

Run down trash. Aweful staff. Avoid at all costs. The supercenter by Lowe's is worth any extra driving.
