Walmart Pharmacy, Salem OR

Overall I would say pretty quick & painless. My insurance covered what I was there to get for my daughter. The gentleman that help me was very polite, quick, and made the experience simple but most of all stress free. Which I believe it is a key component in any employee working in a pharmacy.

We are forced to use this pharmacy for a specific medication that other pharmacies do not carry. I have had nothing but poor experiences here. Of the four times we’ve filled here, twice we were told to come back a different day because it wasn’t ready when they said it would be. Once we were told to come back after noon, we did that and were asked to come back even later in the day. The third visit to a store I otherwise avoid was finally sufficient to fill the medication.

In addition to a clear lack of process in the department, the staff are frequently rude. It’s as though my standing in line at the pharmacy (patiently waiting far too long) is an inconvenience for them. During this same wait in line a pharmacy tech exited from behind the counter and passed within inches of me on her way to wherever she was headed. It wasn’t a crowded area and I was standing motionless. What I observed that day, as well as nearly all other visits to the store, was a complete lack of respect or concern for customers.

Walmart never ceases to live up to its infamy.

The people that work in the pharmacy are obvious hard workers! I love how they have gotten to know my kids and I. The staff is knowledgeable and if they cannot answer a question right away, they will go find the answer for you. This is the best pharmacy I have used.

I have never seen a pharmacy mess up on a prescription but multiple time they have messed up the amount off pills and even givein me the wrong medication

Bridget and the entire staff of the South Salem Walmart Pharmacy are an excellent example of superior customer service and professionalism. Switched from another local pharmacy that couldn’t care less about their customers. I cannot thank this staff enough. Being treated with respect gains respect. And to the South Salem Walmart staff- thank you again so very much.

I could care less, because I care very much. If someone could not care less, that is to say that they do not care, not even one little bit. If the comment means that the service representative did not care about the customer, you would remark: Staff couldn't care less about me. Perhaps you were asking the wrong question?
I find that this location is convenient, organized, and staff seems busy every time I am there, filling prescriptions as well as interacting with customers. I try to arrive during slow hours and avoid the lines during busier times of the day.

Pharmacy staff are generally well mannered and helpful. The speed of service can be slow at times due to high volume of customer service provided.

Forced to deal with annoying automated system "Please enter the number, you have entered an invalid number"

Sometimes there is a wait but that's with all pharmacies. The service here has always been friendly and they get things done in a time frame that has worked with my schedule.
