Restaurant Wetlands Taphouse reviews
16I ordered from the BBQ truck and felt pretty ripped off! It took a while to get two orders of food and there were only about two other groups of people there at wetlands. The brisket was OKAY, but dry and there was no sauce. The sides were TRASH.the "mac n cheese" was literally just noodles with a splash of milk on the bottom, just a little butter was all I could taste. The coleslaw was completely dry, just cabbage and carrots. The "cornbread" was not cornbread at all. It had cinnamon and apples in it and it was dry as the desert.
Oh my gosh. The food trucks had great food, and the views from the table were breathtaking!
By far the best place to hangout with friends and family. Beer is ice cold and the food is awesome!
Great atmosphere inside or out. Yes the food is a little pricey although so, is everything else. Very pleasant people. My wife and I have been there three times now and have enjoyed ourselves.
We ordered 2 sandwiches from the BBQ truck on a Monday night and it cost $36 and took 1 hr and 15 mins to get our food. Then when we finally got our food the meat was cold and mine was supposed to have medium sauce and had no sauce at all. Just dried out brisket. These are not individual food trucks either. It's the same cook jumping from truck to truck.
Amazing build out guys.
A must stop.
20 BBQ was more like beef jerkey but this place is something magical
Had to share on a snowy night where comfort outweighs all and the options are limited- Fat Kat BBQ always throws down, but tonight I came early to get something to heat up later and avoid the blizzard.brisket sando- all I really wanted was the bun to be separate so I could build it later without a soggy bun but the level of care that was taken to ensure I could reheat properly is as if my own mom put together this to go box. Unreal- thank you so much
Staff are welcoming, helpful, friendly! Beer selection is good, food truck fare is good. We do not eat out very often, but Wetlands is our go to place.
Very good new spot here in La Pine with friendly people. We have eaten at all the trucks now with the exception of the chicken truck (closed the few times we have been here) and the food is all exceptional.
It is definitely a different feel than any other food spot I have been to. If your looking for a place to sit down and eat, like a typical restaurant, it isn't really that place. If you are bringing your family, you will definitely want to sit outside, in the very warm tent/pole structure in the back. The inside is very drink oriented, like a higher end bar. Something that I think would be an awesome improvement would be to have a wait staff of some kind that can service the folks in the back that are mainly there to eat.
Overall, very excited about this new spot - especially when it gets warmer here.
Absolutely the best Taphouse we have ever been to and we have been to many. Food, Drinks, View all out of this world. We will be stopping every time we head over from the valley.
The food trucks are rarely open. This food prices are ridiculous. They only play country music. It's just another LA Pine redneck bar. Figures.
Great atmosphere, amazing friendly employees. Food, beer selection and service all top notch!
Such an Awesome place to take your family! The view is Spectacular and the staff is all friendly and attentive! The pizza is the best around!
Our Visit to Wetlands was fantastic! The food trucks were awesome. We had their delicious pizza, the fish tacos, (which were amazing), and their smoked ribs to perfection! Not to mention the great beers on tap! The outdoor seating area was beautiful, even on a colder than usual day! We enjoyed the outdoor fire pit, and the heaters in the outdoor Pavilion. Even the kiddos had lots of room to adventure out. The view of the Mountains was breathtaking. Thank you to the staff at Wetlands for making our visit so pleasurable. We will definitely return for another round of food and drink!
Wonderful atmosphere and just what La Pine needs. Great tap selection and seating area, kid and dog friendly. The only room for improvement is the food truck menu selection since it’s limited at this time (some healthy options would be nice for those with diet restrictions - salad, grain bowls, GF/VGN etc.) but I’m sure with time it’ll be fantastic! Great place to grab some brews with friends and family.
