What's New? Furniture reviews
18Such gems! Bought our reclaimed wood dining table here and it’s one of the most treasured pieces in our home. The selections are vast and the prices are great. One of the best in Portland
I found this end table/ tray table at what’s new and it’s amazing. I use it all the time to have little snacks or do my nails while watching tv. It’s so nice and pretty and I’m so happy I found it!
Sarah, Patrick, and Julius were literally the most genuine helpful funny people ever! One of the best parts about this place is the employees for sure. My mom loved them so much she told them she could be their new mom if they needed one Seriously don’t go anywhere else but here if you’re looking for some new furniture. We were looking for a sleeper couch for my apartment and we found it here for suchhh a good price! Went in there looking for a couch and walked out with a couch and new siblings lmao
Cool store with lots of interesting furniture. Patrick was super helpful and even helped bring out the furniture we decided on and getting it into the car.
This was my first time visiting What's New and it was a fabulous experience. Sarah greeted us at the door and she was so friendly and helpful. She checked in several times and couldn't have been more delightful. We ended up buying a very high quality couch for a fraction of the cost. In addition, I appreciated that they held the couch until our remodel was finished. I would highly recommend this store.
The best place to find a nice couch on a budget! Their delivery guys are awesome as well - not only were they able to deliver my furniture next day, they took the time to make sure it was properly aligned in my room so I didn't need to adjust it afterwards at all!
I am so impressed with the selection and service here! I loved getting to browse without feeling pressure to buy. The folks who work here are so friendly and they checked in to see if I needed anything and were attentive but also gave me plenty of space to go at my own pace. There was a wonderful selection, more than what was online. I decided to think about it then reach out after making a decision, the customer service was impeccable, personable and fast! I will recommend them to everyone I know.
Great spot to get new furniture! Found a new recliner here for the living room and my family loves it & uses it daily. They have an awesome selection of new and consigned pieces and we had a lot of fun walking around and seeing what they have to offer.
The employees here are more like family then staff! ’ They always go over and above and are genuine and caring not to mention patient! I have referred dozens of my family and friends and they all agree! There inventory is impeccable and reasonably priced, considering there is one of a kind antique gems as well that you can’t find anywhere else! They do consignment as well which is so neat to see something different every time I shop there, which is often! My husband says to much actually, lol
Sarah was absolutely fantastic helping us pick out a sectional as well as a couch. She gave us great details and was patient while we considered options and made up our minds. An excellent experience!
Best furniture store in Portland! Consigned furniture, friendly staff, locally made sofa’s!
Good selection of items, a few gems and a few great deals. Mostly expensive ($700+) but some deals that are way under that. Items are all high quality. Not a place to go if you are on a really small budget but if you want to save the planet and reuse furniture this is a great stop.
Awesome furniture place with options and availability of both new as well as reused furniture. Amazing choice around paintings, furniture as well as rugs and carpets
Went in afternoon yesterday looking for a new couch and was really impressed by the associates. Both of them answered any question I had (there were a lot) and helped me in every way possible. They have a nice selection but what will keep me coming back is how great I was treated.
There is a young man acting as a clerk that stopped me before entering the back half of the store to tell me there were only new pieces back there. He specifically said that blue tags were new pieces and white tags were consignment pieces.
I thought it was kind of funny but someone else might have taken offense if they interpreted it as being told they look too poor to shop for any non-consignment pieces. I asked why he told me that and he responded, "to help you shop and find your way around the store. " I took some pictures of furniture I liked and left still debating whether I wanted to support the business.
I definitely have the money for the pieces mon ami.
Post Edit: Looks like I might have had a run in with the same clerk as the review by Alice P.
I purchased my living room furniture for my new studio from AMY at What's New Furniture. I called ahead and she gave me a 1-1 tour of the furniture pieces she recommended for my space. She really went above and beyond to help me. I highly recommend Amy. What a pleasant experience! THANK YOU AMY! - Jeremiah
I found a really unusual sofa there that I love and saw several things that were really unique.
This is my new favorite furniture store. They have all kinds of cool and quirky furniture at very reasonable prices. Amy is the best and she helped me scour the store looking for chairs to match with a dining table. I ended up buying a dining set and most of a living room set. I'll definitely be back for more.
