Whistling Winds Motel, Lincoln City OR

1st time here (7 mo ago), amazing experience. Room (Pixie Kitchen) was home away from home & VERY well kept up. Nice to make our own meals in a "basics stocked kitchen" & beach access was CLOSE. Owners were friendly & helpful. Would highly recommend & will hopefully be back.

Room is very cozy. Hot tub was used multiple times during our stay. It's walking distance to a lot of fun things like antique stores and food.

These people were amazing! Took excellent care of us after another place botched my reservation causing us to sleep in our car for the night

Amazing! Me and my wife needed a hotel close to casino and came upon this awesome motel. The room was just as listed! The place was quiet and the host were very kind and helpful. We requested a early check in and it was not a problem at all. We will be staying here everytime we come to LC. Next time it will be a hot tub room!

We just had an overnight stay in the Honeymoon Suite, number 9. We were looking forward to our stay in this vintage motel and it did not disappoint! The rooms were wrapped in pine wood which gave the feeling of being inside a cabin. Our room had a wall of VHS tapes which was a fun touch! Windows opened wide for fresh ocean air…. The shower was clean with good hot water flow… the bed was cozy, fresh and warm…and a coffee maker made for a nice leisure morning. Microwave and refrigerator were available as well. The owners were so very friendly! They clearly value their customers and go to great lengths to assure a fantastic stay. We will definitely return and are so very happy to have stumbled across this gem!

Stayed @ Whistling Winds in June of 2021 and was entirely impressed with J & K who operate the hotel. They went far and beyond providing us with assistance after suffering a car breakdown in the area. They made our stay most relaxing and enjoyable and entirely thankful for going the extra mile to treat us with kindness. Thank you again.

Great stay and whistling winds is a very accurate name. In the morning there was a light breeze and amazing bird song. Nice quiet neighborhood location.

Booked a last minute, spontaneous trip to the coast and this place is very cute and quaint. Staff was very friendly and the room we stayed in, Room A aka "the back porch", was adorably small. We knew it was small when the room was booked and were delighted at how quaint the room was. Very clean and cozy. I'll definitely be booking here again when I'm staying at the coast.

Literally the BEST MOTEL EVER! I wish I could give this place 10 stars because thats truly what it deserves! Came to Lincoln City to get engaged and celebrate! The owners were wonderful people! They made out stay one to remember. The staff was also so helpful and welcoming. The rooms were beautiful and probably the cleanest rooms I've ever stayed in! Not to mention the GIANT Jacuzzi in our own private room - definitely the coolest thing we ever got to experience! It was so close to beach access that we could walk from our room and enjoy the sunset. The motel's location was perfect! Surrounded by the town and yummy restaurants. Honestly there are so many amazing things about this motel! I would highly recommend this place to anybody and will for sure be using them in the future! THANK YOU FOR MAKING OUR ENGAGEMENT VACATION ONE TO REMEMBER! YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST!

I absolutely love the room. The only thing I didn't like is the roll down shades in rooms. Lets in WAY to much light. Needs blackout curtains. Waking up to a room so bright and realizing it was only midnight.

Darling place only few steps from a busy beach. Early morning walk was peaceful. Bed was comfy and the room clean. Traveled solo and had a nice time. Microwave and small refrigerator complimented the stay. Bathroom linoleum floor appeared stained, walls are slight thin and can hear your neighbors but overall I had a good time.

The owner was so kind and our room was cozy and extremely clean. There were little extras such as a small plug-in fan, an air purifier, nice charging dock for our phones and hooks randomly placed on the walls (this my favorite)! Definitely will be back!

I adore this place! The rooms look like the inside of cabins. Also has that cottage feeling to it. There is a new enclosed fire pit which is nice for when it’s too windy on the beach for a fire. Also a covered area to use the BBQ. The couple that run the place are super nice. Walking distance from the beach and sunsets.

Room was clean and comfortable. Would stay here again. Kara and James are very nice people. Kara told us that there wasn't any microwave or refrigerator in the rooms, but that was okay with us. We got a room with a 2 person jacuzzi. Sure was nice after driving so much.

The owners are extremely nice, the motel is a block off the beach, the rooms are comfy… everything was perfect!

Our family loved staying at Whistling Winds Motel. The rooms are so unique and comfortable. You can tell it is a family-run place and supporting that is 10x better than staying at a large hotel where you are just another dollar sign. The location is right across from the beach and super close to town so you aren't far from anything. If you are on the coast and looking for a spot to stay, definitely book here!

We absolutely loved our stay! We snuck away for a quick Anniversary get away and found this place! We have stayed in so many places along the Oregon Coast but this place has shot up to a Family favorite and we can't wait to return. The room was so clean. We had beautiful stain glass windows. They had a fire pit that was cozy and the ownership and staff were so kind, we enjoyed chatting with them! It's located on a quiet street and beach access in walking distance, we like that! 10/10 recommend!

Bible in the drawer. 2 pillows for both me and my best friend. The shower curtain matched the decor. The smaller remote is for the tv with volume buttons on the side. Hot tub in 3 different rooms. We enjoyed our stay.
