Whole Foods Market reviews
20The people in the bakery were awesome! I purchased a cake and they asked if I needed something written on it. Great service, 3 people asked me if I needed help. Very attentive, which doesn't seem to happen many places anymore! I will be back. Thanks so much!
In a world where customer service is almost non-existent anymore (likely due to short staff issues these days) I had the pleasure of dealing with the most pleasant associate by the name of Christine (hope I got that right) in the bakery department at the Tigard location today. Christine was so friendly and went above and beyond to help me, making me tarts that aren't even being sold at this time, and I was so appreciative of her efforts.
I don't really shop here, I don't think I have ever bought anything from this place. I come here to drop off my Amazon stuff that needs to be returned. Really convenient.
Had always recommended you for many items
including decent pricing, especially your bakery items. Not sure what has happened lately, but the Carmelita’s that were to die for tasted like something picked up from god knows where. Ingredients are not the same. Used to buy a package a week. Can no longer find the fennel tarolli either. Now just one plain flavor. Yesterday, decided to buy only one choc chip muffin to see if that tasted the same. Did not! Worst choc chip muffin I’ve bought ever.
The deli at this place really fell off. I used to go here all the time for lunch but now the food is terrible. Kinda feels like they just gave up after Covid. Also they got rid of most of the vegan options, that was one of the best parts about this place. Hopefully they get it together soon. I would love to start coming back for lunch.
Larger than your typical Whole Foods store. Has water refill station but no alkaline. A large wine section & clothing section. I think they could tell I was a New Yorker but I don't think my accent was that strong. Anyways one of the best wholefoods I've been too.
Big, bright, clean. Once Amazon took over it seems a lot less "Oregon-y". Much more subdued and dare I say, "cold" than in the past. At least this one still does coffee until 3pm.
This is the big whole foods near Lake Oswego. Decided to come here as the local one to me didn't have what I needed. The store is much bigger with a wider selection of items.
I grew up in Austin, Tx. Whole Foods came from there. This store is nothing like Austin's. It is totally geared for the wealthy that enjoy spending way more than you can get at reasonable places. What a shame!

This review is for their salad bar which used to be great. Unfortunately not anymore. The hot meal trays were all empty at 1 pm except chicken teriyaki. Which did not look appealing at all. Low variety of salads
Same issues with their olive bar and pizza. Half of the olive bar was just empty, the other half had just 3-4 different kind of olives, the rest just some pickled stuff.
No pizza at all and it appeared they don’t bake any after the lunch.
Always a pleasant to shop for groceries. Nice and friendly staffs. Dining area now open. Parking is plentiful. Also a good place to shop after or before strolling to the next door REI.
Everything was delicious as usual. Had lunch at their paleo bar. Very good and of course healthy. Only negative thing I could say is that when reporting a spill to the last in the coffee bar. She said "were closed. "i reported the spill. She just shook her head and gave me the kind of scolding look ones mother might give a child she is frustrated with. If not, this would be 5 stars
I ordered a cake for my husband's birthday and the writing was messy, and the fruit wasn't placed very neat. The cake however was delicious.
I have been coming to this location for years when I'm in town weekly on business. This is definitely a place that covid took down. Before covid, it was a bustling grocery store with a bbq in the middle, an active sit down sushi conveyer, an awesome hot plate, burritos, pizza, and great in house made deli.
It is now just a shell of what it was. If you need to get the basic essentials this will do.
But when you go to Whole Foods, you also go for the experience it provides.
I came to grab dinner and left with disappointment. I used to really look forward to coming but will now shift over to the Whole Foods just off 217. That places feels more like a community.
Vegetable here are limp and old on many occasions that I've come here. The employees are also a little odd. We once went in the side door, by the bakery, which we didn't know was not an entrance. We were 50 feet into the store and the employee made us go back out the door and in the front door.
This happens to be the closest store to my home. I go there when I really don't want to drive further. So I've been here on numerous occasions and am frequently disappointed.
I’m very disappointed in Whole Foods, especially after Amazon took over.
The customer service has gone downhill. At the Tualatin location, my interactions are almost always kind of bitter. Staff is not friendly anymore, many times I don’t find someone to ask questions about cheeses, for example.
New seasons kicks your butt in Oregon. Either you improve your customer service or you’ll see your sales going down and your customer buying somewhere else.
For that kind of customer service I can go to Safeway. At least it’s way cheaper.
Amazing service! The employees were so nice we literally had a conversation about poppi! I love it so many healthy options!
Super helpful and sweet when my son accidentally spilled a bag of flour all over their isles. Needed agar agar And white miso paste for vegan cheese I am making. Highly recommend.
The employees today were cheerful and very helpful in answering questions and finding items. This is soooooooo appreciated,
Disappointed in the potatoes the brown potatoes however they looked fine on the outside and they were so bruised and black everywhere on the inside. I had to disregard a couple of them and then I didn't have enough for the meal.
Also the store did not have stock of three basic items that I needed. There were no brown lentils in the bag which I needed for my recipe, and no frozen yellow corn or frozen peas.
I had to go to another store. New Seasons to get what I needed.
I realize these things happen. But you asked how my visit went. ️
Cheers
I was super disappointed with Whole Foods yesterday. I had received a gift card a year ago. It was a e-gift card. I had saved it on my phone. Recently I had switched phones so instead of saving the picture of the gift card I wrote down the number and pin. I went in today to use it and was told I couldn't use it. They said they had no way of entering the code. They needed to scan the barcode. I can't believe there is no way to bypass it to manually enter the code/pin.
