Whole Foods Market, Portland OR

I go to this store a lot and appreciate what they are doing to keep everyone safe & healthy. But today the cashier was pretty rude to us. I understand that people are asked to provide their prime information with amazon, but it is not clear at all how to best provide that information-I am speaking as someone who is very familiar with the amazon app and amazon website. The cashier keeps asking me to "connect your phone number on amazon with wholefoods" and I have no idea what that means-even though I've used wholefoods delivery service through amazon before. The cashier eventually asked me to step aside to figure it out, as if I was trying to pretend I have prime membership. I am sorry I don't go to do grocery with my amazon app ready.and it is not my fault WF won't take my email; and my phone number is somehow at the same time in my amazon profile but not connect to wholefoods. And there are a lot of folks who are less familiar with amazon than me, how do you expect them to navigate this? Couldn't they put a sign at the beginning of the waiting line to tell customers to display their prime code and give a short instruction-if they can advertise everywhere in the store the discounts prime membership can give you, they sure should be able to do that.

I like the added Prime discounts on sale items - I don't like that I'm supporting Jeff Bezos. I go to coops for produce as much as possible because Whole Foods produce isn't particularly fresh.

Food and selection was good but the short young cashier and his bagboy were extremely rude when I asked for my stuff to be double bagged so I could walk home with my items. Definitely need to have a team meeting or something at that location or they'll lose customers I'm sure. There's another location not far, Thank you.

They don't have the selection most whole foods stores have. Very small and limited. On selection

It feels like this store is smaller than some. Because it's urban rather than suburban I suspect. The free parking is nice.

I love this very clean grocery store. I go to Whole Foods in a lot of different areas and this one seems to be on top of its game. Their pre made food is a healthy way to get lunch

They have walmart purchasing policies. No farmer can make a living seeking to them while doing justice for workers and the earth.

Great place to shop for food. I stopped in here to get some batteries and ended up buying all kinds of snaks. Love it!

Cashiers are friendly and prices are dropping since the Amazon acquisition. I still prefer Trader Joe's for most items but I come to this location a lot out of convienence. They also carry a huge selection of organic and perfume/dye free hygiene items that I like to buy when on sale. There really isn't a wider selection in Portland.

A Pearl district classic from way back in the early 2000's! Go here for produce, cookies, pizza, canned cold brew. Shop with your friends and neighbors. Sign a petition on the street out front. Charge your phone. There is nothing you can't do here! 3 Stars.

Great location, prices high as to be expected. Be prepared for a busy lunch rush from about 11: 30 to 1pm. Friendly staff.

Convenient location, higher prices (but expected for a Whole Foods), but the selection is incredible here.

Unfriendly and hostile atmosphere that makes a mockery of the company's claimed commitment to community values. The store is so desperate to keep out those they see as undesirable that there were guards posted at each entrance and the bathrooms required a code to use.

I wish I could shop here everyday! Hands down the best vegan chocolate chip cookie I've ever eaten in my life, vegan or not. The produce section looks like something out of a magazine!

If you consider shopping always organic fruits, vegetables, dairy and meat. This will be your favorite spot, since they offer the best deals for organic consumables.

Whole Foods was my jam for easy on-the-go breakfast (expensive though). I can't go anymore since the store hours changed to 8AM

Guess I'll just go to F&B Cafe for breakfast now.

The whole store was clean and they had a wide selection of fresh food. The place was laid out nice and enjoyable to shop at.

Pricey but Has a lot of stuff you can not find else where. Great for people with special diets and allergies
