Wilder is exactly what you want. The space is cozy, the food is delicious, and the service is warm. There isn’t a place I would rather be on a Friday night.

Arguably my favorite fried chicken in town! It's incredible! The cocktails are great as well and I love to try a different one each trip

I came here just to try the fried broccoli. I was surprised at how light it was as it is fried. I probably shouldn't have eaten the whole serving, but I did. The fried lemons were fantastic, although, I almost wish they were just a tiny bit crispier. The broccoli was breaded and fried, but not too greasy or heavy, while the broccoli itself was soft and tender, but not mushy. The dipping sauce was a great compliment. It was really a delightful dish.

Very good little gastro pub in a super fun local restaurant district, plenty of outdoor seating. Well worth a visit, but not very good for large groups, we showed up with 8 people and were told we couldn't push two picnic tables together to sit together, it wasn't the end of the world, but a little strange not to accommodate such a simple request.

This is one of my go-to cocktail spots but don't sleep on the food. It's so delicious.

Wilder doesn’t miss…been here several times and it’s always been great. The cocktails are divine, inventive and really good. We tried the fig in leather…WOW the flavors…fig, thyme, black pepper and ginger! And the tamarind fuego…the flavors are so unique. Definitely worth a try for both!

Lots of GF options including fried chicken. I ordered the GF fried chicken and if I didn’t know it was gf I wouldn’t have guessed. My old fashion was good! We also enjoyed the fried broccoli. Small indoor space but outdoor tented patio seating was available too!

Food and service are hit and miss. I have been about 6 times and have had great drinks, food, and service. Other times not so much. Was better (like most things) pre-covid.

Delicious drinks, incredible burger and amazing service with a dash of patience. Like all good things, they take a little extra time but this small (but mighty) crew delivers and makes the experience worth the wait!

We’ve been here a couple times now and each time it’s been great. The food is amazing and the service is friendly and professional. A well done space and some outdoor patio seating is available. Highly recommend.

Fantastic food! Ordered the wilder burger with fries, unforgettable. Best fries I've had in a long time! Everything was delicious. The waiter had a wonderful sense of humor as well. Good vibes all around. Will go again!

If being rude to your table was a sport. Our waitress would have qualified for the Olympics. The food was good. Glad we finally got it. The first order was lost. No biggie. The second order was super late. When I mentioned it, We were schooled on time and snapped at. Was uncommon reaction for just a question. She then refused to wait on us and had to ask for the check from someone else. Not the service I’d expect for a 60.00 meal. Cheers to the chef for hanging in there.

The burger here is one of the best in Portland, and the salads are always interesting and delicious. Excellent service, great cocktails.

One of our favorite neighborhood places. GREAT food at affordable prices, and great staff. Only con is the secret is out, so sometimes it's hard to grab a table. Luckily, there's great bars on the same block to grab a drink at while you wait for your table.

BURGERS. Their smash burger was veryyyyyy good. Great cocktails, too. I was a little surprised at the bill being higher than anticipated, but wasn’t a deal breaker. I’d recommend!

Limited but interesting menu. Sat outside. A little pricey but hey, I was eating interesting and tasty food I didn't cook so I was happy. Really liked the cocktail I had (okay I had a 2nd one because it was so tasty). Staff was friendly, good about checking back and had honest opinions about menu items. I'd drop by again and see what had changed on the menu. The 2 items I had were definitely seasonal.

Very disappointing. Ordered drinks, waited about 40 min. Was told they were "working on it" by one waitress. Then a few moment's later another waitress came out and said they had a glitch in their computer. There's no need to lie here, learn how to respect your customers. Don't waste their time.

Terrible service do not come here.
