They are super heavy on the bureaucracy. Actual dental service is pretty good, but if you don't exactly fit the mold, you will have issues. The doctor said I could skip my next appointment, as my teeth were normally pretty clean, so when I tried to schedule myself and my family at the 11 month mark, instead of the 12 month mark, they absolutely refused to let me schedule without doctor approval, and the doctor would not be in to approve until three days later. To be clear, my insurance has no issues with covering more than one cleaning per year. The dental office is just needlessly obtuse and bureaucratic, which makes the patient's life harder for no reason.

Took the dentist 24 hours, and 4 phone calls to have my prescription sent to the correct pharmacy.
The dentist I saw was short and flippant with me when I explained my anxiety about having dental work done. He didn't even ask "Why are you coming in today? How are you doing? " Not friendly or comforting or understanding in any way. Mind you, I had already explained to multiple people on the phone that I was terrified of coming in, while scheduling my appointment. Clearly there was no note made of that prior to my visit, to spite explaining it, at length to multiple people weeks beforehand.

If you have an option to go anywhere else, I'd say go anywhere else.

Y. Lin, DMD was great. Also my Dental Hygienist, Rosa, also fantastic. Couldn't have been a better experience. Facilities are very clean, and it appears they're following all Cdc and ADA guidelines during COVID-19.

Some of the staff is nice especially when I was coming with my parent at the time, but when I turned 18 and I came alone the staff was really rude, mean and unnecessarily judgmental. I have to come here because my insurance covers only here and I have braces but I wish I could just never come here again. I have high anxiety coming alone especially. That’s itself is a huge accomplishment for me. I came to get checked and get new bands from the orthodontist not sass coming from the assistants, I always feel very uncomfortable being their. I’m just trying to come in and out as fast as possible. I’m the type of person who is terrified of calling companies and would rather email or text. If you have high anxiety and don’t need the extra stress of rude workers please don’t come here.

When I first found out that this was the dental office that my insurance would allow to me go to I was a bit worried about the reviews. That being said, I don't think this experience could have gone better. When I called to make my appointment the front office team was courteous and professional. Yalda was very pleasant and did a great job of explaining the procedures and instructions to me. Peggy was very nice and did a great job cleaning my teeth and had excellent bedside demeanor. Dr. Lin who worked on my teeth was patient, caring, and did a great job both in the work she did on my teeth and how she included me in the whole process. I understand that not everyone has a 5 star experience, but I wanted to share how positive my experience was in the hopes that it will give other patients encouragement to use this office for their dental needs and to give kudos to the team that helped me to keep doing the good work they are doing.

My son does NOT do well at the dentist and I feel most of the time they get irritated by him (he's 5), we usually go to the Hillsboro location. We went to this location this morning and these ladies were phenomenal with my boy and made him feel comfortable! They were so kind and we had the absolute BEST experience EVER! If I could give 10 stars I would! Bravo ladies!

After visiting Willamette Dental in Beaverton, I can say this was the very best dental experience I have ever had. Truly. Dr. Flemming and his hygienist Amanda made me feel so comfortable despite my extreme anxiety about dental visits. Great doctor patient interaction. I would recommend this location to anyone in Oregon, it's worth the drive. I live about an hour away, and this will be my go to from now on! Keep up the amazing work! My thanks to you again Dr. Flemming & Amanda!

I had a few cavities filled two months ago and have been in pain every day since. I can’t eat or drink anything cold. I’ve been twice for emergency appointments and they just say give it a couple weeks and maybe I’ll have to have another procedure because they possibly hit the nerve during the filling. They are horrible. If you have a choice go somewhere else.

I've been going here for years. And while I've had standard, semi-OK care, they have yet to keep a dentist longer than a few months, this stresses me out because I have to re-explain things to dentists every single time, and it's beyond uncomfortable. On top of this, I've received insensitive care about my teeth health due to some conditions that I cannot help. I wish I could switch to a different dentist, but none around here take my insurance.

I’m impressed with this place, they are always very kind, helpful and explain everything and answer all questions. My dentist is an awesome lady and so gentle and I literally have no pain when I have to get a filling.

I have to say after reading some of the reviews on this place, I was terrified of my upcoming appointment. I already have high anxiety about the dentist in the first place and it seemed like I was going to be in for a torture session based off of the reviews. But when I arrived at the clinic I entered a clean and bright waiting room and was greeted by a friendly and kind receptionist. All of the staff seemed genuinely happy to be there. My wait time was quite short and the dental hygienist who called my name was immediately delightful and engaging. She took the time to get to know me and she sincerely did everything in her power to keep me from focusing on my fear. She was charming and made me feel safe. The whole team was warm and friendly. It seemed like they were truly happy to have me as a new patient. The dentist herself was kind and professional. She didn't rush through any of the exam and made sure to thoroughly explain the answer to any question I had. Over all, my experience was so positive that even though going to the dentist will never be an easy task for me, I will now not dread it and be sick to my stomach over the whole process. They even laid out a care plan for me so I could be fully informed on what my dental health plan would be. On a scale of 1-10 I rate the clinic at an 8, the care team at an 8, the dentist at an 8 and the dental hygienist Amanda is a super star 10!

A little backround on me, I work a night shift at a food processing factory. I've been for waiting for an orthodontic examination for two months. This morning I had to cancel my examination due to an odd change in my work schedule. I've been rescheduled for another appointment two and a half months from now. I'm considering switching my dental insurance provider, because it is insane to make someone wait four and a half damn months to be seen for a preliminary orthodontic assessment. I'm livid.

Hi, everyone stay away from Willamette Dental, I was their patient in 2011 right before Thanksgiving, so every year around this time, I'M MAD AND SAD, because I remember the horrible experience I have at their { clinic } Dr Lou was the dentist suppose to take care of easy, banal extraction, she butchered me for 1 hour and 30 minutes, she have to cancel the appointments after me, she keep me with the mouth open for 1: 30 minutes long, she went out off the office to ask another doctor for help, she accused me for having the roots to deep, anyway was not even a wisdom tooth extraction, then she said she has to cut under the bone, people whatever she did even after she give me like 2 seringe doses I was still able to feel the terrible pain, i felt at some point my brain gonna pop out, after that day i went home and I cannot sleep or eat, I was diagnosted with TMJ, and I was heavy under antibiotics for 1 month, on the second night was the Thanksgiving that was the night I feel im going to die the antibiotics didnt have an effect anymore and i feel a pain in my brain, anyway i tried to approach them several times after I ended up with permanent pain in the place they did the extraction and in both lateral, parts of my tongue, 6 years past those days the pain is still there, im assuming the Doctor Lou when she perform that extraction damage a nerve the tooth was close to the wisdom tooth, they almost killed me, over the tooth they extract it I was never being able to put a crown or anything, that place is still painful those days even if i touch the gum with my tongue, all this times their company was in denial, they never tried to help, just passed me away so the times go and their liability expires, they being sued before and they lost couple of millions for other similar case, they toke advantage of me being an imigrant and my english not being so good, plus im a single father with 3 kids, life isnt easy for me, they are a powerful company, with lawyers and money, they dont care about you people they just care about their money, is type of tooth factory corporation, listen to my advice, avoid Willamette Dental even if they offer you free services, God is my witness i almost died, I ended with permanent pain wich I have to live for all my life, I wish they go bankrupt, and I will not be surprise if they will have a mass shutting in their facility if they still treat people worst than animals, Every year around this time I will post reviews about their corrupt system and low care dental they offer, Merry Christmas!

Wish there was a no star option. Had a badly abscessed tooth extracted. I had been in a massive amount of pain for 4 days prior to extraction. Appointment comes and tooth is pulled, they write a prescription for pain and I take it to the pharmacy. Pharmacist doing her due dilligence calls Williamette Dental and verifies prescription. Next thing I know the pharmacist tells me the Dentist cancelled the prescription. Umm, what? My cheek is swollen like I'm hiding a golf ball in my mouth and I'm in terrible pain. Apparently, the Dentist said because I already have medication they wouldn't fill it. Standing in the pharmacy I call them and explain to them that I have been taking my pain medication as prescribed and that it wasn't relieving the pain. Who goes to the dentist to have a tooth pulled when their not in pain? Makes no sense right? Why would I even go to the dentist if the pain medication I was taking was controlling my pain? By their logic, if you take a maintenance dose of pain medication that should cover any and all pain you have, whenever you have it. For example. If you typically take 2 Advil for a sore knee and it helps and you later fall and break your arm, is that 2 Advil you've been taking on a daily basis
going to relieve the pain of your broken arm? Of course not. You're going to have to take a higher dose for pain relief. For some reason Williamette Dental cannot understand this concept and I spent another 5 DAYS in massive pain. So much pain that I had to call out of work for 2 days. This was my first experience with Williamette Dental. My second experience? Root Canal, what do you think they told me to do for my pain? Yep, you guessed it. Go home and take what you have. Again, no pain medicine, and 4 more days of agony which was completely and 100% avoidable. I told my Mother about this and she suggested I report these visits to whatever medical boards they are governed by. I plan to do just that. What kind of Dental office extracts severely abcessed teeth and performs root canals but sends the patient home to suffer, in pain for 3-5 more days. I'm appalled (again) as I write this and it's not like I'm reading a shocking story. It happened to me! When open enrollment for my employer rolls around I will be dropping them and picking up one of our other options for Dental care with a different provider. I used the words dental care, when I shouldn't have. Williamette Dental doesn't CARE at all. If you have a choice of Dental Providers choose someone else, anyone else.
