Doctor Maghsoudlou is an AWESOME dentist. Highly recommend him to any new patient! I was nervous about getting my wisdom teeth pulled but with his great staff, overall I had a great experience!

Amazing staff. I was greeted with a smile, checked in quickly and everyone from the hygienist, to the dental assistant went above & beyond. They are a great group of people. I’ve never had such a positive experience at the dentists.

My wife took my daughter (2 and a half) there for her first appointment. To say they are bad with kids is a gross understatement. They were very rough with my daughter and completely ignored her mother.

They first off "attempted" to make her feel safe and calm by blowing a glove up with air. These completely freak my daughter out and ignored my wife when she told them so. They acted like they knew our child better. And they then cornered my child, who was cowering, in a fashion that blocked her from my wife.

They claimed that my daughter screaming in terror nearly to the point of giving herself an asthma attack and puking (while reclined. Thats how a child aspirates) was her trying to manipulate my wife into getting what she wants.

They then had my wife keep oir daughter on her lap while her head was in their lap and they wanted my wife to to tickle my daughter to get her to open her mouth for them. My wife reluctantly agreed and when it wasnt working they once again, ignored my wife and they put their hands on my daughters throat and jaw in an attempt to pry it open. Hard enough that it left marks on my daughter. Once again, ignoring my wife until she literally had to claw their hands so they will let go.

Do not go here. They will just assault your child and ignore you.

Richard was the best dental hygienist I’ve ever had in my life. I hate the going to the dentist and getting my teeth cleaned, but Richard made everything about my experience comfortable and enjoyable! Rather than just tell me to brush and floss more, he educated me on how plaque and tarter builds up and what happens when you don’t remove it. Best dentist experience ever! Not to mention I was 30 minutes late because I got lost and they still accepted me, and the ladies at the front were so sweet and accommodating!

I went in for tooth pain and possible extraction. My first appointment, I told them I had extreme pain, I was told to take an over the counter and they scheduled the extraction for 2 weeks away. I spent that entire time in pain. I attempted to call to get help with my I was still told over the counter and treated like a second class citizen for asking for help. They were able to get an appointment scheduled for a cleaning 3 days before the extraction. The pain was unbearable this point. They did the cleaning and was told there was an infection. They did not catch that with the first appointment. The dentist I talked to over the phone previous did not seem to care at all that I was in pain. During the cleaning I was able to talk to a dentist face to face. She reviewed my past X-Rays and informed me that it was an infection and I was given a small prescription to hold me over till Monday when the extraction was scheduled, antibiotics. I'm stunned that they were not able to notice the infection with the first X-Ray initially and could have given me antibotics then. Or even when I called back. The antibiotics worked decently. They didn't seem to care about my previous talks and them missing the infection twice. I was treated like dirt. They ended up surgically removing 2 teeth, one from each side. Both sides having stitches required as they had to cut into my gums to remove the teeth. I was given the assurance that I would be helped with the pain afterwards. This was a lie. I was told the same thing. I'm writing this review to help anyone looking for actual help with your pain. They will not provide it. If I wanted my mouth worked on like the dark ages I would have went to a back alley dentist, might of been cheaper. This is by, far, my worst dental experience ever. I have had multiple teeth extracted at other offices and was certainly treated better than this. Since I have a tooth from each side extracted from each side I'm unable to eat anything more fulfilling than a liquid diet. I already have OTC medicine that has given me ulcers from lack of food and they want you to take triple the regular dosage. They missed the infection, not once but twice. If I was given antibiotics at the start it could have helped my pain immensely. This review is only to help those looking to find a completely different office. I will also be going through a malpractice complaint. If you have read this whole thing, thank you for reading and caring more than my dental "care" team.

Out-of-Pocket. ~$17,000, Food. 471 days since I last chewed a bite, Time. Implants installed 13+ months ago. Willamette Dental doesn't have a dentist to finish the work. Priceless.

They have been super awesome! I’ve had a few cavities taken care of and they are quick and painless!

The dental office has never been my favorite place to visit but I was very happy with the care I received. From the moment I walked in they are very efficient and I didn’t even have to wait 5mins before I was already inside. The hygienist took great care of me and explained the work she would do in detail and gave me the best cleaning I have ever received. The dentist took the time to listen to my concerns and even offered a panoramic X-ray to make sure I was completely comfortable about my wisdom teeth concerns. I will definitely comeback to this office.

The service from staff is good. That isn't an issue. My primary complaints thus far consist of:

- They are very sales focused. Buy this sonic toothbrush, buy this special mouthwash, buy this prescription toothpaste.

- They claim they are "First in Proactive Dental Care", but I've got some issues with their claim if they aren't willing to work with patients on more advanced procedures they might need. I was told I should have a deep clean (and they aren't wrong, I don't take the best care of my teeth.) but I was given no options for payment plans or other options to cover the $300 it would have cost. The only option I was given was to do it quadrant by quadrant, but that would have been 4 appointments, which feels more like a punishment for being too poor to pay all at once so I now have to get robbed of an additional 4 to 6 hours of my time? Not the fairest trade in my opinion.

- I'm here today because a filling they installed in the last 6 months is falling out. They also don't clean up their work very well.

I’m not sure who my hygienist was, but she made the experience so great (especially awesome because I hate going to the dentist).

Dr. Tyra is awesome! I’m terrified of the dentist and dr. Tyra made it painless and put my nerves at ease explaining everything step by step.

Root canal - Dr Bayat was great. He did the procedure with virtually no pain. Not what I was expecting at all. Everything was on schedule, I was in and out of the office faster than I thought would be possible.

Avoid corporate medicine at all costs. At my initial appointment techs were actually RUNNING around trying to work under whatever time constraints they had been put under. This place is an embarrassment to dentistry. Cancelled all appointments and changed insurance. It's that bad.

First of all, I love my dentist, Dr. Metz, at Jefferson Street. The Jefferson hygenists are all very professional, too. Where I am feeling most displeasure is with the periodontist at Willamette Specialty where I was referred for treatment. Not that any visit to the periodontist will be a walk-in-the-park, but I was made to feel that I WAS a disease, not that I HAD a disease. Very demeaning in addition to being painful. I dread going back.
