Willamette Park reviews
17Wonderful spot! Busy but not crowded on a Monday afternoon, perfect for pups and runs/strolls!
Nice paved walking and bicycling path next to the Willamette River. Restrooms available by boat ramp and by covered picnic area. The off-leash fenced dog park is another plus, but be sure to bring poop bags as they are not provided.
Lovely park on the waterfront. East boat access to the water, and lovely areas to walk around
Granddaughters' preschool end of season picnic. Lots of parking for a large crowd. Shade and sun for those seeking either.
Great place to walk, access the beach on the river, launch boats, kayaks, or canoes. Clean restrooms, picnic tables, and a covered pavilion. Great places for eating or after visiting.
Very nice place to launch your kayak from. If you go to the right after passing the powerlines, you get into very nice rock formations and islets on river right and river left. Enjoy exploring. Keep an eye out for turkey vultures on the rocks.
Good place to recharge water if doing long bike rides. Also shaded and tons of benches for break.
Beautiful well kept park. Very busy on holidays and weekends. Boat ramp is easy to access. Great walkways.
Pack a picnic and enjoy the view! Really like that it wasn't crowded. Cool place to just chill.
Pretty clean for a Portland park. I imagine this place gets pretty wild with the nice weather
The water is high now, leaving little if any room for shoreline walks. Great leash free park.lots of dogs. Bring your own chairs, benches have seen better days
Here all the time. It's always clean. You do have to pay for parking. The childrens playground is in the shade. Really good view of the fireworks on the 4th each year.
A classic, beautiful park with old growth oaks and a gigantic grassy area. Did someone say picnic?
This large multiuse public park makes a great visit. A boat ramp, tennis courts, athletic fields, and live metro sponsored summer concerts provide plenty to the community. Mixed ages abound, and plenty of lovely dogs were walking on the well-kept paths. Park maintenance is terrific, and your personal safety is assured. The river front makes for a pleasant reminder of how special a space we live and recreate in is while providing a relaxed, spacious atmosphere to enjoy the out of doors. Public toilets are accessible and clean.
Excellent place to go for a walk, be able to have contact with nature, have peace listening to the noise of the river, etc.
We come here mostly for the doggy park area. Doggy area is normally pretty tidy and well taken care of. It's secure and enclosed. So unless your little buddy is a dedicated gate crasher, there shouldn't be any issues.
Just a morning walk for about 3 miles was a very pleasant day with gentle breeze and warm sunshine perfect. Hate having to pay for parking even on weekends when it was totally empty at 7am
